This is Americorp Debt Consolidation.  I got a call from them and all it said was "This is customer service returning your call.  Please hold for an associate."  I never called them in the first place and they never got on the phone...it simply disconnected after a few minutes.  I called the number back and the touch-tone system on their end did not work for me.  It said my response was not recognized.

I've got to ammend my previous comment.  This is actually a call center for at least 2 Debt Consolidation companies.....Americorp and American Debt Management.

I've been getting calls from this number for about a week now.  Same thing, says they are returning my call and to hold for the next customer service rep.  I've never called these people.  What can we do to stop these?

i got a call from this number two days ago,, caller id says free debt considilation. i signed up with vortex debt group witch is a debt settlement company, about two wks ago but withdrew from the program like a day later, they suck...i read all kinds of complaints about them on the net, they were just calling me back to ask why i chose to withdraw and about the complaints i had read on the net...
