Offering me a business oppurnity of some sort but I think he was really calling looking for information
regarding a long past debt.    Other 800posts indicate its a debt collector for long past debts.  There
will be no response from me!

Wanted to discuss our company taking on insurance claims (we are a construction company) ... I forgot the name of the company ... sorry.  I have to say, he was one of the most polite telemarketer's I've encountered.  Lol

Gina, Did you find out the name of the company?  I received the call today and find it highly suspicious that he did not identify a company.  That is the first thing I do in a message.

The call that I got was from a Ken Lawrence from CLAIMS PAGES OFFICE.

Claimed he was with the "IL claims department" but would not give a company name that the department was in. Was very rude and borderline harassing

If I don't recognize the number and they don't leave a message, I won't answer or call back.

called about an old loan gave a reference number no company name definitely a scam given above information.  careful these scammers can look into your personal credit history or even current repayments claiming they represent the repayment party and are managing or administering payment changes due to laws, etc.
