- Sandy| 7 repliesThey called regarding a pay check cash back in 1999. They said the last 4 digits of my SS were and then stuttered around... when I didn't offer the info she said the first were 631, told her not even close.
I called the number back and got an irrate man. I ask him to send the info to me and I would have my attorney look at it. He said I'd better have a good attorney because I was being sued. I told him I did and he hung up on me. He insisted I had used this check service. The lady had said in GA. I told him I didn't live in GA in 1999. He said these were Nation-wide.- Caller: started with a D

- RachelOk I did not call this number back. I did however search the web trying to find out about who DRS was. No luck. So searched number got this place but also read the stuff with just the first 6 digits in it as well. The word diabetic popped up. Ah I had just taken a survey and one of the questions was about that.
- UnknowI just got the same call. The guy said DRS and he said that my number was on their record and they needed to discuss a very important matter. I am contacting the FCC and see if they have a list of phone being used as a scam. A bank, mortgage loan place etc, will contact a person directly by phone or mail.

- Pilot MarkCalled me today and left a very cryptic message. After waiting a 1/2 hour on a call back to them from a voice mail they had left for me the rep said his name. I asked what his company did and was disconnected. I waited another 10minutes. The next guy was vey evasive, but said they were "DRS". I gave them the number that they had called when they asked. They then asked if I was Lawrence Lee. I am not. The represenative said he would remove my number from their database. They were not very nice or informative as to why they were bothering me or how they got my number. It is a cell phone for which I have had the same number for 11 years.
- Caller: DRS
- MikeGot the same message just now. Thing is, I just got this phone number five days ago for my cell and the only two places that have the number connected to my name are the store I bought it at and my cell phone carrier. So, whoever or whatever they are looking for, it isn't me.

- NotthatdumbThis number is a scam. How they got my number and my wife's previously married name I don't know, but when I asked why are you calling, her ghetto ass tried to say"do you know her yes or no", I responded with"why are you calling yes or no" and they hung up. Tried to call back and got "thank you for calling". I wish I could've led them on to get more information. Nigeria scams done here in the USA.
- UnknownReceived a call from DRS, the stated that I owed on a Citi card that was cancelled back in 2004. Said that I could settle the debt for 1/3 of what it was if I was to settle now. However if I didn't settle then they were going to file a 1099-C with the IRS showing that it was income and I'd have to pay taxes on it. I'm not an idiot.
