801-866-269-1726 is for a company called ACS Systems (a collection agency).  They were trying to track down an Ex-wfe.

This number called today.  The guy could barely speak English.  If I can't understand you, I'm not talking to you.  Sorry!

I got a call from this number today.  The guy just left a message to call them back at that number, a reference number and the hours they are open.  Seems they leave early on Friday.  No identification of who they are are why I should call them back.  Not going to call them back.

Identified himself as carlos with ACS Assistance.Gave a Confirmation Number to use when calling back.Vague about giving any other information, was calm and polite.He did ask for my name,as he was calling to reach someone else.I gave no information. I suspect it to be a collection Agency or collecting information for a collection Agency.Phone number is a land line according to the cell phone number search line.Number is never answered when called back.

They called every weekday. No one was ever on the line. Had ATT trace the call. ACS Collections. They will hear from my Attorney!

its a BS call from some pretend debt collection agency claiming the name ACS.
this phone number called my home phone, the message doesn't say who they are, only some 'urgent business matter'.  i called back, they claim i have an outstanding TICKET from April 2007 in a vehicle i used to own.  they didnt have the model or year of the vehicle, only a make [dodge] and a partial license plate #, and no info about what KIND of tricket [parking or speeding, what intersection or city was it given, etc.]  the address was somewhere i lived 8 yrs ago.

Blows my phone up daily

I have been receiving a call from this same phone number several times.  The first I didn't know who it was, so I answered the phone.  I kept saying Hello hello, but no one answered the phone.  They called me back the next day again, and this time I didn't answer the phone just to see if they will leave a message.  They never left the message.  The third time they called, I answered the phone again, and once again no one was on the line; however, I could hear them talking and typing on the keyboard on the background.  I am very annoyed about this.  I just want to know who they are and what do they want.

This number calls my house constantly they hang up as soon as I answer or they ring once or twice and hang up before I get to the phone. They just called again and finally spoke asking for someone Ive never heard of. I have had this phone number for 9 years and told the woman that. She was very rude saying this is the number they have for the person they are looking for. I repeated several times they have the wrong number then she told me this is a personal matter and we need to hear from Timothy immediately.. I politely told her to F off and hung up. Getting really sick of these idiots.

Same as a couple of the folks above. 866-269-1726 keeps calling, when I answer there is just dead air - actually very quiet, like on mute or something. Today when they called I muted my mic & just let the call run. In about 20 min they called again. I put the first call on hold & answered. Same deal. I put the second call on hold went back to the first & just let it run. It went over 4 hours (with the second call still active about 20 min behind it). I ended both calls. My phone was idle, so I didn't care. I believe it must cost them something to run these toll free numbers, so I ran their bill up a little.
A little further looking shows they are a collection agency  - probably after me for a giant hospital bill I owe. I have almost nothing & will never be able to repay it. Never owed anyone a dime, now here I am & it sucks.

Got a call from this number saying they were ACS collecting from me - gave me a WID # as a reference - since I have zero outstanding debt I ignored them but googled the actual ACS and called their office - got straight through.  Gave them my WID# and phone number and last name...they had nothing on me and were disturbed this scam is going on.  *It is not the actual ACS doing the calling - their name is being used.

Not to worry - this isn't the actual ACS collections calling.

Scammers - got to the point I received over 100 calls in a day!!! It's risky answering when they call because the calls will increase if you do. DO NOT ANSWER and BLOCK THE NUMBER or do what I did, even though it's risky answering the call. Most of the calls would come in while at home. I have access to a police whistle and a drum set. I would answer the call and  either blow the whistle or bang the snare drum as loud as I could into the phone!!! Pretty amusing to hear the "AAHHHH!!!" before the disconnect.

THEY CALLED MY DEDICATED FAX LINE - THEY HUNG UP, NO FAX.  CALLER ID SAID "ARSTRAT"

They are calling my old cellphone number which is  now connected to my magic jack line.  Must h really old information.

866-269-1726 is a scavenger debt collection agency. Ignore them.

They want money of course, dummy. What else would they want?

Magic Jack incoming and outgoing calls cost me zero.  I've never
answered any calls from this number. I have no idea what debt they are trying to collect because they leave  no messages ever.  Unfortunately,  magic jack has no way for me to block calls.  Thanks to all for the research done at least I now know who they are and what they are trying to do.
