unwanted call

Repeated unsolicited calls.  Asked to call 866-269-1731 for an important business message.

received call from 866-269-1731. Said they were a debt collection agency and went by the name of "ACS' whatever that is. Asked me for an account number which I had no idea of what they were talking about and then asked if I knew a Luanda -------- something and I said no. They said okay that they would remove my phone number from thier list. I asked what the name of thier firm was and who they were but did not get a direct answer. This outfit has called six or seven times in the past three days.

Call at least once a day.  Impossible to return calls the line is always busy.  I have tied at least 100 times to return the call.

Received a call from this number, they asked me if Ashley Gordon was there, I said I don't know the name, then she switched it to asking for Alicia, which is my daughter's name, but our last name is not Gordon. They said they are a company called Arstrat, which is a debt collector.

One of the tricks they use is to call your family, friends, neighbors and/or places of employment (past or present or both) to create panic and embarrassment so that their intended victim calls them and they can scare that person into paying their extortion money.  They often call people that have never even been associated with you because they get erroneous information off of the internet.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Constant calls without ever leaving a message so…”Account Services” if I owe you money, leave a message?!?!
