Claiming I.R.S. has filed a lawsuit against me and I'm to call it back... When I did it was some Indian guy who could barely speak English, asking me how much money I could send him.

Didn't pick up but left a voice mail saying that the IRS issued a warrant issued under my name and to call them back at this number.

Sounds like a scam, called back, someone picked up with an Indian accent saying they are the IRS. See, if it were the real IRS, I would think I have to go through a slew of menus given by a robot. To have my call picked up within 2 rings by an actual person screams scam. Beware.

I got a call from this number today. They left a message saying they were from the IRS and there was a warrant for my arrest. Um, no!

I received a call from this number but didn't answer it. An automated voicemail was left stating they had a warrant out for my arrest. SCAM!!!!!

threatening call from alleged IRS source claiming a warrant had been issued for my arrest. Definitely a scam.

This number called today I answered to an automated recording that states it's lawsuit filed warrant issued blah blah blah tried to call them back and got no answer definetly a scam

Left message that a lawsuit was filed against me, (never used my actual name), and to call ASAP to avoid jail time. SCAM!!

These people make me sick.  They should be prosecuted. They continue calling until they find a victim for their fraudulent scam. The IRS do not ever leave threatening messages saying that there  is a warrant for your arrest. So block the caller and enjoy the rest of your day. There should be an option in call type named scam.

Same story.  IRS and a warrant out for my arrest.  YouMail and iPhone Call-Blocking work great and it's easy to mark a caller as, "Scam".

Same thing, IRS, warrant, etc.  seems fishy to me.
