I received same call with same ref number. Obviously a scam

Definitely a scam. I got the same reference number even as one of the other people who commented.

I received the exact same call as the previous reports. Elizabeth Nelson called about my student loans (I have no student loans) & she left a reference number of 066022.

Got the same call with reference number 066022.

Same exact message, same ref number as well.  Give me a break, [***] I paid off my Federal Student loans more than 3 decades ago!!!

Lady said calling from 866-269-6776 from Federal Student Loan (payment options) with reff# 066022. I called an answering said to dial option 1 if I am still in school or 2 for a loan below $10,000.00 or 3 for loan over $10,000.00. not bueno.

Same as mentioned above. Same ref number 066022. We have never had student loans or any debt. Scammer.

Caller said she wanted to discuss my student loans with a reference number of 066022.  I have never taken a student loan.

I get the same message today. Student loan? I paid off that about 20 years ago. And I paid a few dollars more than I owned. Are they going to refund me with interest?

I knew the minute the message was left it wasn't legit - child has a loan but I know they would never make a phone call if there were changes, snail mail only. Same name, same phone number. Busy little snakes aren't they!

Student loan scammer, phishing for personal info.  Recorded message from "Elizabeth Nelson" regarding a loan account that doesn't exist, Ref# 066022, asking to return call to 866-269-6776.  Don't do it!  Call actually came from 716-351-0181.

I received the same call today with the same reference number. I knew it was a scam because she called on our home number and we haven’t given out that number since we moved into the area over a year ago.
