I have been getting automated message calls regularly for nearly 2 years from this agency. On at least 2 previous occasions, I have called (with the "reference number") and told them I am NOT that "Daniel" they're calling for and to cease the calls now.Today, I called again. Supposidly, I was removed from the the list (I hope). If the calls resume, I will contact the Chicago office directly, write to them and begin charging them for leaving the messages. Has anyone else been successful in getting the calls to stop? By the way, I have a stellar credit rating.

Someone calling from Nigeria regarding a winning lottery.

I answered and a woman began asking me to confirm my social security number.  She said they
had to confirm I had won a prize and had to have this to legally authorize payment.  100% SCAM... never speak to people asking for this type of info.  THIEVES, LIARS, TRAMPS AND CRIMINALS.

I got the exact same situation 4 times over the past 2 weeks....woman called me from 1-866-269-9859 and would only say "hello...hello...hello"...she refused to relinquish who she was and would only ask if a certain person lived here but yet played stupid when I kept asking who she was, and went back to saying "hello,does so n so live there"

This is a law firm in Chicago collecting deleinqunet accounts for Beneficial loan company.

They are most likely identify thieves. I answered and the said they needed to confirm the last 4 digits of our social security number as they needed to transfer money into our checking account as we had won a sweepstakes.  I called the police and they said never to answer any questions from people like this as they are most likely hackers or ID thieves.

Calls 3-4 times a day.  I never answer and they will call back again within 25-30 minutes.

I receive at least three calls a day.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

I get calls from this no. several times a week. I tell them that the person with the same name is not myself. They call some times and don't speak. I answer hello, hello and no one talks. I get calls from this number, when I let my machine take it they hang up without leaving a message.

This number calls several times a day.  During the day when I answer, there is no-one on the line.  This evening when I answered, the calling person said her name was Heather, would not give anymore information but expected me to provide a SS# and Birthdate.  When tying to explain I do not give information over the phone because of scammers, she seemed to get frustrated and said she was ending the phone call.  I sure hope it means she will stop calling all day and night.  Yep, the lst call from them comes in right before 9pm.

These people keep calling my number asking for various people that I don't know.  I don't have a debt problem.  I have told htem I am tired of hte phone calls.  They stop for a short while and then start it over again.

These bottom feeders only call on Sundays and Christian Holidays. What a bunch of Satan worshipers.

Third party debt collector. They call from a multitude of different phone numbers and they keep calling the wrong number. Maybe they should try calling the ObamaPhone to gets some ObamaMoney.  Our politicians have raised our taxes and they keep taking all our money, so's I got no mo money left, think I'll try calling the ObamaPhone?

with a different name of the law firm or collection agency, but the same woman on the outgoing message. This is some kind of scam, as I do not have any debts. Why isn’t this kind of harassment and thievery stopped?

I have no credit cards, A vehicle that's a 1996(antique) I never took out a loan, or have any bills ...   Or have any financial trouble..  These are identity thieves! So if you have caller ID, Do not answer your phone if you see

These people keep calling me asking for the previous tenants of my apartment.  They do not care that they do not live here any more they just keep calling and calling and harassing me. Caller ID comes up as "Dept Collection".  I am just getting rid of my land line. Land lines are just for scammers and thieves to welcome themselves into your home.
