Got a call from Francis Pitney Bowes at my home place.  There is no way this company has any business with me.  

The person hardly speak English with a strong African accent.

Got automated call to my business number, dialed 0 and I heard only the last part of the message, their name was not repeated.

Got a call, it was someone claiming to be from CIBC. Never gave 'em any info whatsoever, and made it clear they were barking up the wrong tree....they were phishing for address update, etc....Dealt with CIBC in the mid 90's...never since.
Disturbs me that someone MUST have name and number from something official that CIBC has possibly mishandled...
Anyhow, this number....NEVER give out ANYTHING...

The number that called was P.B. - L  866-270-0216.
The guy was looking for my brother in law. He claimed that my BIL gave MY number as his contact number. ( Which I can't see him doing, as he doesn't like people to know when he hasn't paid his bills.)
He then gave me another number to have BIL call him back at. 1-800-256-8964 ext 328. I googled that number as well...it came back as Credit Bureau of Canada....

The first number says it belongs to Pittney Bowes...office supplies, hardware, software, etc.

Guess Pittney has their staff make the initial calls and sends people to the Credit Bureau number.
BIL says he's never heard of them...but he does have debts with other people.
Maybe Pittney Bowes handles collections for other companies as well?

I have had several calls from Credit Bureau of Canada they say they are a third party collection and they need to get their facts together and update their information before contacting the parties they are harassing the first call they say I owed 70 + dollars when in fact it was closer to 500 i made my payment for 600 and they called me again today i didnt give them a chance to tell me what amount but i received my Enbridge bill with a 52.11 credit and that was the account they were calling about to collect on. i find this very harassing when their information is totally incorrect and not up to date ,Is there something i can do about this. I would love to receive information.

I received 2 calls from this number, the first-no message- the 2nd only a partial message.  I called them back and all operators are busy?????  If they call again I will just not answer.  I just moved and owe an Enbridge bill but am paying a nominal amount that I can afford each month until done, the hell with this number!

I recived same call from Franco ext 314 when I called back no one answer. Totally SPAM

he indicated he is in Mississauga working for embridge. Becarefull.

Call 2-3 times sometimes more daily they start at 8am and finish at 8:55pm. Pick up the phone and it’s dead air, no response. Hang up they call back. Don’t answer and they don’t leave a message. Very annoying

Claims to be from Credit Bureau of Canada regarding debt collections. They provide a fake file number, name and extension to call back.

Received 5 calls today from this number (and it's been happening every roughly three days for the past 3 months). No message. Today on the fifth call, I picked up because I am getting sick of this; immediate hang up. Tried calling back, got automated machine telling me to enter the extension I wished to reach. Hit 0, was "first in the queue". After 5 mins, hit 0 again, "all of our CSRs are busy".

Hung up after that.

Debt collectors are supposed to leave a message but they don't because then they can keep calling you (as not leaving a message means the call does not count as a 'contact', by law in Ontario).

I don't know why this debt collector is contacting me as there is no reason they could be contacting me for.

So instead I am getting harassed for what exactly? Whoever owns this number & company deserves jail time at this point.

This party kept calling me saying that it was an urgent message for my husband who has been dead for a year.  Kept calling me continually.  Left no message unless I answered. Really annoying!

They've been calling me eight times a day for months since my sister's death. They claim they're calling from the Credit Bureau, but when I call back, there are never any operators available. I'd love to find a way to make it stop. Instead, they keep filling up my voicemail box.
