    Indeed, same thing here.  Wanted to call back about prepaid debit card.  Can tell this is a fraudulent spambot, but it also helps I don't own a debit card.

    Automated voicemail left saying they're with Netspend and wanted to speak to me about "my" prepaid debit card account.  I don't have one. I'm assuming this is a scam/phishing call.

    I received a call from this # also. it wasn't ID'd and didn't respond immediately , so i assumed it was a sales call, however i also received a text on my smart phone indicating there was possible fraud charge. i responded to the text and they texted me back to watch for a call from that #. they never asked me for a card # but did confirm name and address and had info on my last 6 charges of which 3 were frauds including a test charge of $1.00, and 3 were legitimate charges I had made. so they have improved the system if you have your fraud alerts to include e-mail and text/ SMS capabilities. so keep your fraud and charge alerts updated and netspend will never ask you for you card #.

    "Hello, this is Netspend customer service calling with an important message regarding your prepaid debit card.  Please call us at (866) 281-3211.  That's (866) 281-3211  Please enter your Netspend Card account number when prompted and you will be automatically transferred to the appropriate area.  Please note...if you have already spoken to us about this matter you may disregard this message as no further action is required.  Thank you...goodbye"

    Per Netspend website they do not robo call:
    NetSpend will never call, email or text you to ask for your card number, PIN, social security number, online username or password. If someone calls, emails or texts stating that they work for NetSpend and asks for this information, hang up, call the number on the back of your card and report it to us.
    I dont have a prepaid debit card. If I did I would only call the number on the back of the card for safety reasons.
