I got a call from them saying that there was a claim filed against my social security number and that I needed to call back to decide what to do about it or else they would decide on my behalf. It was completely automated.

White pages says it's a scam/fraud call.

Same as above.  They have a "claim" against ...............  Did not identify who I was.  TOTAL SCAM

Twice got this call first time it was on answering machine so called back three different names they called me then asked for my son in law. Second time I answered automated if they knew me why not use my name???

Called said they were from Paramount Group - whatever that is

keep getting a call from 1 866 289 7051 from the paramount group saying something about my social sec number????

First call was automated. If you call back they do give you their name and what company has hired them to collect a debt you owe. So it's not a scam it's a debt collector.

If that's true "Leslie" then it must be safe to assume that you've called them & have their information. Post it "Leslie". We'll be waiting...
