Left a message saying it was important documents that they couldn't reach me at the address they have for me. They said I needed to call them back before further action be taken. Didn't call them back.

I also just received the same message.  I believe this is a phony collection agency.  They tied once before claiming i owe on my dead fathers credit cards. We had a lawyer check and dad did not owe anyone. Just a phishy call.

They left me the same message, and then left a messsge on my hubands phone and my brother in laws phone. Claims that I didn't sign for documents they sent me.  How can i sign for documents when noone has ever tried to deliver them. The mailman would leave a notice on the door if I wasn't home and needed to sign for something.

Scam.  You don't sign for served documents.  They are simply served.  The served party has no choice in the matter.  This is a debt collection scam.  Ignore and block the calls.

This is most likely the "Cardinal" scam.

Thank you so much! This information was so helpful. I just got a call from a 1-866-373-3970 saying I owed some online payday company that I'd Never heard of $600 but they would settle for $300 if I set up payment arrangements. I said I wasn't paying nothing til I say something in writing . he offered to send someone to serve me to my home and  I said bring it on........haven't seen anyone yet. FOH.
