If this is the same agency that's been calling me for a few months, it's to collect a "debt" that is reported "paid as agreed" on my credit report! I won't bother calling them back...

Called, said into my answering machine, "Hello? ...{Name} you pushed the number, you must be there...or else you hung up....so I'll hang up, B*****!"...OMG....into my answering machine...called back to see if they'd say the name of the company, got a person after the first ring, and she wouldn't tell me the name of the company, or if they do collections or sales...wanted all sorts of personal info from me...was like, no, i'll wait until you call me back again.

Caller Id 866-299-6414, recorded message left a message stating nature of call was to collect a debt, Portfolio Recovery Associates.  No other information was given except to call back this number 866-299-3632.

(866)299-6414 called one week ago stating they had a collect call from some automated name, I did not accept. They called again today but I did not answer, no voicemail was left either...This is starting to freak me out! I don't have any debt, so I don't know what the number is.

No message on answering machine. Second call this week from this number.

First time they have called. Recorded message stating they wanted to talk to (they had correct name) and gave all these choices on what button to push if you were getting the person or if thy don't live here. I hung up. I don't talk to or listen to automated messages.

left a message regarding a debt collection and a different number to call. Since I have no outstanding debts this is a scam

Pre-programmed call stated that the call was for "don't remember".  Since it was not me I selected option 4 on the instructions which was "person is not associated with this number".  Hopefully this will be the end of this call.

This number is from Portfolio Recovery Associates.  I have had seven calls from them so far.  Their caller id displayed the 866-299-6414 number.  Today, however, it is now displaying the number 866 299 7422.  (Look this number up for similiar details.)  

They are asking me to call 866 299 3463.  

Anyway, this is a scam!  I just reported it on the www.donotcall.gov web site.  If your number is registered as a do not call number, go to that site and report these scum suckers.

Call repeatedly asking for a name I have never heard, told them twice now no one here by that name, we have had this number for about two years now, started right after we got the number.  Always say thanks will remove number and don't hear from them for a while but then it starts again.

called and asked for a person i know but has never lived at my house. i'm on a no caller list so i guess i'll turn them in. sounded like a british person, oh well atleast it was'nt a [***]

Called and was prerecorded message asking to call back for myself or spouse.  Usually call in evening hours and when call back, is prerecorded that will be recording call etc.  A few days ago left message and identified as Portfolio Recovery Associates.  So someone tell what this crap is.

left a number different than 866-299-6414 to call back -Did not ask for by name anyone particular on machine. Have no idea what they want but not interested in calling them.

I've gotten several calls from them and my number is "new" and I'm not listed so I was wondering how they could be calling me. Thankx for letting me know this is a scam!

A machine leaves a message relating to a "Debt" if you don't answer, please DO NOT ANSWER. They call every 15 days or so, please be carefull this is a big scam, call the police to report the number and follow up.

They keep robo-calling looking for someone we never heard of. As we just moved and got this number we assume they're looking for someone who had the number previously. Too bad they don't let us tell this to a real person, I assume we'll be getting robo-called forever now.
