I just got another call that left a message saying it was JC Christiansen. I googled it and found fraud reports saying the scam is they say you owe so much but will settle for less. They want you to send the settlement money to an address. Watch out for this scam!

1-866-319-8608  This number was given to me from a lady namedBell Kenwood.
The calls come into my phone as Unavailable.  Then she tells me they are trying to settle a debt that I already settled and have documentation for. After arguing my point to her she says that without proof from my bank they cannot consider the debt paid.  After contacting my bank, I was told the debt was indeed already drafted, as I told her, and to not let them draft anymore from my account. And to most definately not give them anymore account information.

The # shows up on the  ID as  telemarketer . There is a recorded message  saying that   you are to return a call to.

Same here, Christiansen.  But I not only got a call but a text message too. It said "PLEASE CALL". weird.

they keep calling my cell phone. the person that they try and reach has a new number and i told them in the past to stop calling me and they keep calling me and the dude that answered was rude so was the other guy i talked to. just call the fcc and report them, thats what im about to do.

These people are idiots!  It is JC Christiansen, debt collector.  They tell you to return their call and when u do a recording comes on to tell you all reps are helping other customers and then disconnects!  IDIOTS!
They call ALL the time and I owe nothing!

If you keep getting these calls, Call & write to your State Attorney General Office, they will go after them...

the company is called JC Christiansen. they are a debt collecter for fingerhut and probably others. they are also the attornys and they are legit. they tell you that they are collection on a debt and they will try to offer you a settlement amount for less then the orginal debt. if you were a ture client of one of there clients you will probably get or have getten a letter from them wtih all the information.

These people will NOT quit calling me.  They even continue to call me at work even though I told them not to.  Yes, I do/did owe the debt but NOT to them - and it is over 2 years old.  I have found out that if you pay the debt collector the original debtor is still on your credit report and does not come off.  So why pay THIS company when THEY will not report it as paid on my credit report and the original credit card company still shows me as write-off/bad debt?  They call 3 times per hour!

Send the company a letter stating that they are not to contact you or anyone associated with your account by phone anymore.  Tell them to contact you by mail.  Send it certified so that you know when they get it and if they call again you can press charges.  They are not allowed to contact you by phone after you have written them telling them not to call!

They need to stop calling me and leaving stupid message on my voicemail.

these ppl keep calling for my sister and i keep telling them she doesn't live here but they still keep calling.  they are rude and disrespectful.  I also wish they stop asking me for a contact number as if i would really give them any info when they cant even identify theirselves or the company they represent...If any of their workers browse through these comments i just want to tell you and your boss GO F*** YOURSELVES and STOP CALLING MY HOUSE B****es.

they also spoof a 918 area code number from catoosa okla.how can they do this?

Just a few minutes ago, got a call from this number. .They asked for Robert.
Said they had important business to discuss. Then hung up.
                                                                                 

                   

Repeated calls from a "debt collector."  Local number shows up and they say to call this number.
Wake up folks.  If you owed a debt you would have received something in writing long before they resorted to phone calls!
Bogus!!

Just got a call from a number I didn't recognize.  I let the ans machine pick up and it was a pre recorded message from JC Christiansen calling to settle a debt.  What's weird is that the pre recorded message left instructions to call the 866 number BUT the CI on my phone showed the number as 6617946252.  The recorded message does not indicate who they are trying to reach. I've had other agencies call and leave info to where I was able to call them back and tell them to  stop calling my number for somebody I don't know.

this number has called our office at least 5 times this morning,, 1/866-319-8608 and leaves a message.. disclosing personal information for whoever they are trying to reach. They nevers say who the call is for and no call back name. after reading the comments I can see its def. not important anyway.

I have been getting several calls from J C Christensen & Associates at different times in the day. Phone # 866-319-8608..
These are annoying calls that I let the calls go to my answering machine. I DO NOT OWE ANY DEBT nor do I have any
Credit Debt that was or has been turned over to their Collection Agency!!!
P.S. I have an EXCELLENT CREDIT SCORE!!
