- We should get paid| 12 repliesI feel that every time these people call we should be able to collect a sizable fee from them. They call for days and from different numbers. Someone should set up a legal way to do this. It is a form of harassment and if the fee is high enough, hopefully they would stop calling. The government has the means to track these people down as they did when it involved the guy claiming he was from the IRS. Stop calling or it’s money in my pocket.

- BigA replies to We should get paid| 7 repliesLet's see. Everyone here has reported it as Citibank collections. Gee, I wonder how hard it would be to track down Citibank? I wonder if we could go on this thing called the internet and find their address? How is it that you expect to get paid because they are calling you because you owe them money?
- MikeHuntleton replies to We should get paid| 2 repliesIf it was in fact Citibank calling you, then you already know all you need about them and why they are calling. Its up to YOU to take action against them if you feel your being harassed, not "someone" or "the Gov". If you owe money, they have every right to try collecting on it, so long as they abide by the law.
If it was a scammer spoofing the number, then you still need to know who they are before expecting the Gov to 'track them down', because how would they know you even got a call or who called, if you don't?
Complaining with the expectation someone else should do something about your problem will solve nothing. - Alibaba| 3 repliesthis phone number is scam .8663224983 we have reported to to government sorses for identify, additional atorney is looking to for investigation of this number note(harsemen by phone it is illigal .
- Tygerkat replies to Alibaba| 2 repliesYou're paying a lawyer to investigate this number? If you have that kind of money, why don't you just pay Citibank the money you owe them? Then they'd stop calling.

- Kelly| 1 replyRec'd a call from this number. They did not leave a message. I called back from a different phone. They are Citibank. I do not have an account with Citibank.
- Anonymous replies to Tygerkat| 4 repliesNumber spoofing only works one way, so you can call the number back and will defiantly get Citibanks Sears Credit Collections department, Or you could call some other number and spend 15 minuets on hold/being transferred to the correct person/department to get your number removed if in fact it is a mistake.
