I tried calling back & it's busy

They had no idea of why they left a message really frustrated!

Scam alert.  They asked for all my info.  Gave some, but soon hung up.  Googled the number and it says Provider Scam.

They claim they are wellcare.

got a call from a 956 area code. they left message but knew my whole name. said they were 'wellcare' and left the number 1-866-327-2455 to call back. My phone said it was a spam call but the company (I have wellcare) knew my name.

Left a message to call them at 1-866-327-2455 or TTY 711.   It the number on our card.  After googling the number, we will not call back!

I meant to say it is NOT the number on our card.  Glad we googled it to find it is a scam.

I decided to call Wellcare’s number on the back of my card and it turns out that it is not a scam. They had called me to tell me they had a generic for my medicine that I was paying a lot of money for.

I have called WellCare before and they were not able to track that number to them at all. I noticed though that they only seem to call when I have a prescription at my Pharmacy that needs to be filled. So wondering if that Solutions to my prescription that's not going in I called them back. It was the strangest thing somebody did answer but they just kept asking for my name over and over again like four different times like it was on a loop. Super weird so feels like a scam.

The message said it was Wellcare, but when I searched the Internet for this number, some sites, including this one, said it was a scam.  But I was waiting to hear about a new medication.  So I called Wellcare and they did not tell me if they had called but they did have news about approval for the generic form of the medication I want.  I am glad I called Wellcare, because the person there was very helpful, and my medication is covered.  The call could have been a coincidence, I'll call them and find out if someone is tracking my Rx requests and using that information somehow.

I posted a note about an hour ago.  I called the number and told the person who picked up that I am always careful about clicking on links in email or calling numbers I get from unsolicited calls, and I prefer to call the main number.  I asked the woman for her  extension  from the main number on my card.  She said she did not have an extension.  I told her I was not comfortable giving any information unless I was sure the call was to a published Wellcare number.  She said not to worry.  I thanked her for that advice, and then I said goodbye.  She may have been legit.  People at call centers do not usually have extensions, they just get the next call that comes in.

Kept trying to get me to say the word  "YES"    ...  I wouldn't.

This is a legimate Wellcare phone number. I called the phone number on my insurance card and double checked. Not a scam

They left a voicemail saying that they were Wellcare and to call back at the 866-327-2455 number about an important message regarding my drug plan. I called back and gave them my name but didn't have my plan member number, so they asked for my Medicare number. That is when I got suspicious and hung up.

Like others I got the msg and returned the call. Unfortunately  I verified info they had and then tried to verify their number.
