WOW! Buy a $25.00 subscription and you get a $2000.00 cruise. Sounds fishy to me, that's right they forgot to mention the 24 hour timeshare sales pitches you get every day of the cruise. The "Free Introduction to Lifetime Holidays" as one of the things to do is not mentioned until you are on board.

Too bad the telephone companies and government bureaucrates don't have to be subjected to this crap like the tax paying public has to. If they had to put up with it, would they allow it to occur?

They called recently. Called the number back - it was a company calling themselves "Dedicated Solutions", or at least so said the person answering - can find no evidence of such a company in Canada411.ca or via various web searches. They are doing telemarketing on behalf of the Globe & Mail newspaper. I don't understand why companies such as the Globe & Mail continue to try to sell subscriptions this way. For every customer they DO manage to get, they get about 10,000 people who never want to buy their product or service ever again JUST because it's being sold in this invasive way. This telemarketing idea CANNOT be doing them any favours.

Have received many calls from this and similar numbers on behalf of the Globe & Mail. Have called many times and asked to be removed but to no effect. When I called back this time they tried to skirt around my annoyance by asking about my travel habits. What nerve! I insisted on speaking to a supervisor this time, got someone named "Jason" and was assured I would not receive any more calls. We'll see...

Hey i called that number and spoke to someone and it was a law firm and i told them the number and they had no idea what I was talking about lol, stupid. but same number (866) 338-4725.
