    Caller ID said 800 Service.

    Caller claimed to represent TXU disconnect services. (TXU is an electric energy provider in TX.)  Stated that our electric service would be disconnected in 45 minutes unless we gave her a CC number over the phone on a Saturday afternoon.  We buy our electric energy from a different energy provider.  My conjecture - SCAM.

    If someone calls you from this number saying they will turn off your electricity for non payment-SCAM! I fell for it, hope you don't. I called the electric company after speaking with them and PGE said they are aware of the scam. Do not give them billing or credit card information. They harass and pressure you and say they will turn off electricity in 45 min. Hang up. Don't give them any info!
