Received an email saying my order from Verizon Wireless was cancelled due to lack of inventory. Found that hard to believe since it was for gift cards. Wanted me to call this number for questions.  Contacted Verizon directly and they had no record of either the number or that they sent me any such email.

I just got off (after waiting 50 minutes on hold) from talking to a real Verizon agent at their number listed on their website - NOT THIS NUMBER. We had received an email about our request to add a line - which we had not requested. THE VERIZON AGENT INFORMED ME THAT 866 338 7390 IS NOT A VERIZON PHONE NUMBER. The email was extremely convincing - down to correctly knowing all three of our real Verizon numbers. I am sure had we called the number an equally convincing "agent" would have had us reveal all sorts of information. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER.
