- Tired| 1 replyStudent loan Robo call, I’ve never had a student loan in my life.

- Courtney replies to TiredYup. Same type of call. A "Virginia Davis" left a vm. Never mentioned who she was calling for. Just gave her "name", a reference #, and this call back number. If it's a true call, then someone is using my phone number erroneously. Or, it's a scam.
- NoPhishMongersI received the same voicemail from Regina Davis with a reference number for a federal student loan. I don't have any student loans, but I can imagine what information they might ask for if I called back and they tried to verify that by asking for personal information. Phishing. It's the new breaking bad. Grrrr!

- PKCI wasn't sure if this call was legit or not. "Virginia Davis" sounded very professional and it certainly sounded legit. Even though I don't have a loan, I almost called because I am co-signer to my child's student loan. I questioned the caller's authenticity because she did not mention the loan company or the name on the loan. My gut told me to look into this. I'm glad I did!

- CalledMeTooVery professional sounding woman left a voice message saying to call back about a student loan and said to mention reference # 070009. Since the call back number didn't match the one on the website for my fed loan, I wondered if it was legit. Glad I looked here before calling back!
