Got a letter states they are with US Airlines and Ih ave wante 2 round trip tickets from an Erica Bale, VP.  I would stay clear, I have been having issues with scams for the last year because I filled out a small loan application from what I thought was a reputable company.   I get calls from overseas telling me to hire a lawyer because I did not repay a loan.   I think this letter is part of this scam as well!

Got the same "Erica Bale" letter today; the logo looks extremely fake that my BS detector went full tilt.

I hae to also call BS_  it is copied logo, no TRADEMARKS< chinsy cheap paper.

Do companies think we are all stupid? US Airlines? There is no such company - my letter was postmarked out of Arizona with a hand-written envelope. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Same scam received in Chicago. It's in the recycling bin.

Received the same letter today. I called the number and it claims a local Tampa travel agency is trying to get their name out there and so is sending out this letter.
When i asked for the address of the travel agency, she started a list of "qualifying target market questions". I told her this is very misleading to put this on "US Airlines" letterhead and she hung up on me.
SCAM!!

This scam seems to be systematic. Last year circulated west coast. This Oct-Dec it's circulating Fl numbers with Erica Bale as VP, though VP constantly changes with phone prefix. The area code 866 is a toll free number like 800. There is no United Airlines. Don't call the number(s), you only get a pre-recorded woman's voice with a british accent. The scammers are "farming" for live numbers for unknown purpose. Possibly time share sale or credit/bank card numbers. Personal suggestion, do NOT reply. Let your name and number go into their dead end basket.
