Calls 3 or 4 times a day for weeks.  Rings 1 time, I have never been able to answer. If I call back I here recorded music.

Nearly the same thing is happening to me.  Several calls from this number a day.  Mine rings several times like a normal call and I answer but no one is there.  If I call back, recorded music.

Same here, rings 2-3 times and hangs up.  If answered, nothing but silence.  I have reported this to the National Do Not Call Registry.  Perhaps if more people filed a claim with them something would be done.  I hate getting up to 10 calls a day from some annoying idiot.

I've been getting the same and I'm about tired of it.  If anyone finds out who this is please post the info.

Got 2 calls in 1 day. One asked for my husband, then hung up. Tried calling back but also just got music. Are we now experiencing a new type of spam? We're on the do not call registry, too.  If anyone has any answers, please post!

O.K.  The gimmick is called "Change My Life Sweepstakes."  As soon as I started asking questions and for a supervisor (when the caller didn't know who he was, where he was or who he worked for), the line suddenly went dead ("hello - I can't hear you.  Are you on a cell phone").  I'm doing some more research - MTF.

Seems that Embarq cannot trace a 1-800 number.  The Embarq Help Desk also tried to call the number back and only got music.  He gave me the BBB number and the Federal Trade Commission number.  I'll try them today.

Per federal law, no one can make automated calls to cellphones. The problem is proving these were automated calls. If you can prove it you can sue for BIG BUCKS! Technos welcome to add here....

i work for a digital phone company, i just had a customer call with the same issue and number. i found this forum by google searching the phone number. same usless hold music. the customer told me his caller id comes up "800 service"

I keep getting calls from this number between 5 and 10 a day. Pretty much the same situation as everyone else. any suggestions to catch this mofos?

Same thing here today. The same number has called us 4 times so far, and its not 2pm yet. Talk about annoying!!!

This number calls us at least twice a day. Today, we got about 5 calls all about 5 minutes apart. Sometimes we don't even answer, but when I get fed up I answer and it hangs up. Today, I finally got a person when I answered and the guy asked for "Christopher." I kept telling him he had the wrong number, he asked who I was so I hung up.

Several calls from this number, and return calls only generate music.

Received a message today. Oh my a Lincoln Navigator. The contest is over. Tried to call them back and ask that I be removed. Hung up on me. I disconnected my phone during the elections in Mass and just plugged it back in. Good God will they ever stop. Time to sign up for the no call list again.
