Thank you for posting your answer.  You are correct, it WAS Allied and they were calling because I was past due on an auto policy that I do not even have.  Don't know why they didn't leave a message to let me know it was important.  Very frustrating!  

I asked why they don't leave messages.  They said they usually do the first two times, then not the third time.  But this was the first call I got from this number!  Thank you for your post so I knew to call back and get my name clear from being past due on a bill that should have never been due!

I also received a call from this number and they are calling to update your information for upcoming renewals on your policy. They are following up on letters that were mailed out. I was actually very happy they called as I would have had not known about the letter if not. Phone call is very painless and the reps are very polite.

Thanks for the information. Two calls so far on cell. Turns out I have Allied for auto insurance so that may explain the calls. However, they are all hang ups. No response to multiple greetings.

Yes, this has been my experience too. I too have Allied auto Insurance. At least now I know where the calls are coming from. Still annoying...

I have Allied insurance and I called them to report about this issue.

This is Allied Insurance Company. Why do they just hang up?? We have received these annoying hang up calls for weeks. We will not renew with Allied!!!

I heard this is from Allied insurance company and I do have an auto insurance with this company. I don't know why they keep calling me. they just hang up. I've been paying a normal payment every month so I don't have any financial issue with this company. It's really annoying to get calls for days by far.

This number is for policyholders of Allied Insurance to confirm rating information related to their auto and homeowner policies prior to renewal.  A letter from Allied always precedes an outbound phone call.  Occasionally, it is possible that the telephone number belonging to a non-Allied  policyholder is dialed.
