- PaulettteReceived a message on my answering machine from "Carlie" that I won a prize. Called back and spoke to an arrogant SOB. He was reading from a script and as he was reading, I kept asking for his name. He eventually hung up on me.

- HarcoI got a call on my answering machine late at night on 10/14/14 that I won a new car or 25K like everyone else here. I forgot to call yesterday but I tried this morning and I got an answering machine asking me to leave my info. I didn't. I know it's some kind of a scam but I want to know what they're going to say so I'll try later in the afternoon. 11:00 a.m. might be too early in CA if that's the origin of the call. I'm glad that I remembered to google the call-back number, it always yields some kind of an answer.
MY QUESTION: when returning a call to this number, did you get someone on the line right away. As mentioned above, I didn't - HarcoI finally got through. A male answered and asked me what extension I dialed and he mentioned a woman's name that made the call but he proceeded to handle the call. I told him that I got a call that I won a car. He asked me for the phone number that I received the call on which which was my home phone number. He said "am I speaking to xxx" only saying my first name. He said I filled out something at a mall up to 14 months ago. He said "it shows that your marital status is married, are you still married?". I told him that I won't answer questions like that. I regret not asking him what my last name is. I asked him what difference does it make if I am married or not. If I won a car, I won a car. He gave me some BS about that thousands of people entered whatever it is that I entered and only 55 people were selected but there is another drawing in December and wished me good luck. The call ended.
So MARITAL STATUS is significant here. Would someone be so kind as to give some input as to what they are getting out of knowing my marital status? - HarcoFrom reading other posts from other phone numbers, all of this is to qualify you for possibly selling you a timeshare. Other prizes were mentioned along with the ones that I was offered, the SUV and the $25,000 cash. So marital status is of importance in that the chances are better that if you are married, you have kids, and the family would enjoy a time share in a nice resort somewhere. Other posts stated that they were asked about their income and someone even said that they asked for a credit card number. Oy veh !!
Most people as I, are on the "no call" list so telling you that you won something side-steps the law in that it does not appear that they are selling you something. - tsher3Hi,
I just got the call! " Carrie" called me, I also won the 2014 new vehicle or $25,00 in cash!!!...... Apparently I filled out a form in a mall up to 18 months ago as well .... doubt it! (I hate being stopped in a mall) I googled the number right away, Im thankful to have found this link. It's really scary, it seems every corner and phone call people are trying to scam and " phish" our info!

- BillI just received a phone vmail that I won a car or $25K cash and to call back this number (official notification center) and ask for "Clark" regarding my prize -- yeah, right; I wish we did not have to have a land-line. I am not interested in any Time-Share purchases.

- MargeI also received a call from "Clark". I was not home at the time of the call, but did return the call. I was told "Clark" was in a meeting and was helped by "Daniel". He also verified my name, inquired as to my household income and said it appears I did not check off the box that stated my marital status. I also was told I was a finalist for either a new car or $25,000. I also was told that I must have filled out an entry at a mall, I don't remember doing do, since I do not go to malls. Just another SCAM.

- ashleyI won a new 2015 Durango or $25K and call either Carlie or Clark.
Knowing it was a scam I called, hoping to at least remove my name from their list. I got someone right away, who was answering for Carlie who was on break. I won from an entry form filed out at a mall! How Lucky. He then read the entry card for me...
" you are between the ages of 40-75"
"no"
"you are married"
"no"
"your income is between 65k and 100k"
"No"
You are a Massachusetts Resident."

- SarahReceived voicemail from Clark at the Prize Notification Center stating my name has been selected and to return the call to hear more about the award. He said my name had been entered in a drawing to win a free car or $25,000. I returned the call and received a voicemail. I left the same message on their voicemail. I wonder if they'll call themselves.

- CJW FLAGot a call from "Clark" too. We knew it was a scam. My wife and I both filled out a entry slip at the mall from a local car dealership since the cars were being shown like many times before. I am glad we are researching this since we smelled a rat too. Wife called back and got a different call taker and hung up.
