I got a call from this number two weeks ago. They called someone else's phone though looking for me.  There is no way that anyone could possibly know to call that number.  The man's name is Abu and said he was trying to reach me about an important personal matter and was trying to get information about from the person he called.

Abu called my brother, looking for my estranged wife.  What's funny is that wife didn't know brother's number to start with.  Abu also referenced her  by maiden name.  I checked around and found that the number has service through Ovation Communications in Minneapolis.  It's a direct line somewhere b/c it rings straight to Abu's voicemail.

I received a call from them the other day. They are trying to collect for citibank.  Very unprofessional!  Abu's supervisor actually got on the phone and yelled at me.

I received calls from this number. Don't give them any information and tell them not to call again. Read The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and make yourself aware of the specific violations they are commiting then call Abu back when you are more informed. He got scared when I called back and handed the phone over to his supervisor. I told his supervisor Abu had all the info and contact me only by mail so I have in writting all contact. Keep a notebook with all phone contacts. Include time, date and name of caller and who said what. If they continue to call log all the info and remind them that they were to stop calling you. Abu will try to befriend you and if that doesn't work his supervisor with threaten and harass you. Inform yourself and tell them you have read the act and recite specific violations. I have actually called them a couple of times to point out their violations.

After finally finding out who this was, I blocked the number on my cell. They called very early and very late (making sure to get you in bed)

Collections for Citibank and/or Chase

This number belongs to a collection agency for Citibank and ATT Universal. Do not answer, because once you talk to them they can indicate to Citibank/ATT Universal that you are allowing them to collect an unpaid balance with these two banks. Many times these collection agencies do not have a written contract with these banks to collect on your account. Also, if it isn't your account, it could be a family member or friend they are trying to collect on. IT IS A SCAM, DO NOT CALL THEM BACK.

It is an extremely threatening collection agency that is illegally trying to collect credit card accounts for Citibank and ATT Universal. IT IS A SCAM, DO NOT ANSWER.
