My mother's home is intentionally going into foreclosure. She is an elderly widow who refinanced the house during the subprime scandal. She is extremely under water with the mortgage and a line of credit. She was given advice to let the bank take it back. Which means stop paying and prepare for bankruptcy. Don't know how long until they will order a vacate of the property.

I've read nothing but horrible negative complaints about AmeriFirst Mortgage (SLS Specialized Loan Servicing) and the abuse they treat mortgage holders. This group will be losing hundreds of thousands on this mortgage and line of credit. The home is NOT sellable. It will not pass inspection on anything. Bad septic. Bad windows. Bad exterior. Bad foundation. Improper well water incoming to house. It cannot be demolished and rebuilt because the lot is too small. They will be holding on to this property forever.
