GOT A CALL THAT A SUPENEA HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR ME... I CAN ASSURE YOU I'M NOT WHO THEY WANT. WHEN I CALLED, HE WOULD GIVE NO INFORMATION.

I got a message today from a guy by the name of Jason who said to call him back at 866-416-7971. There is a case # he gave me and he said it was very important to call him back or he will serve me a subpeona to appear in court.

Any more contact from the since then? I got a call this morning.

My parents received a phone call stating that "they wanted to give a heads up, that I was going to be served with a subpeona tomorrow."  They left a number for me to call back.  866-416-7971.  Once I called this number back the man on the other end was "Jerry" and said that they were with ACM group and that I owed money for collections.  When I asked him for PROOF he avoided consenting to fax / mail me proof.  Also usually when you call an 800 type number back you don't get the same person.  Jerry answered EVERYTIME I called, I found this fishy.  I got online and went to the BBB website and nothing comes up for the number, so I googled the number and read reports of this same number trying to scam people.  Also when my husband got on the phone with "Jerry", Jerry wasn't very professional.  BEWARE, do NOT agree to "settle" today with these people.  Get proof first.

My mother also received a call and they stated that their son owed all this money and if it was not paid, a subpeona would be issued for his arrest. They tried to settle with her and when they asked for her credit card number or check account info, luckily she asked them to mail her the information first. I do not owe this money. THIS IS A SCAM! PLEASE CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFC 213-897-2000, IN LOS ANGELES. I HAVE ALSO COMPLAINED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IN CA.

this person said there was a subpeona for me he also said that he was doing me a favor and they all ways like to call the person before give them a subpeona.  he said he was from my city and it was the county clerk office.  if i would like to know call this number.when i called back it said the office of acm.
