I called a different number inquiring about some eye cream to remove dark circles - from an ad on WCBS NewsRadio.  I was driving so couldn't give my credit card info.  They called me back with an even better offer but I said I don't give my credit card info to people who call me, just those I call.  They've been calling me a few times each day ever since.
I'm SO glad I didn't give my info after hearing all these complaints.

I get a call from this number every day.  No one answers when I call back.  They do not leave a message.

I called an 800 # a few days ago about the "free" eye cream and decided against it and hung up on them. Now I have been getting these calls from them everyday since then!  THATS THE CONNECTION!  That's who is calling us!!!

I found the original phone # for the "free offer"  800-500-2914. I called and spoke to a supervisor Mike. I told him to remove my cell phone # from their records. He said he "knew nothing" about these outgoing calls and said he will "send it up the chain" to have it looked into.  The company name is Hydrolyze-if your phone # has been on the do not call registry for more than 31 days-file a complaint right away!

This number called me numerous times for the past several days.

I received a missed call from this phone number. Tried to call back but there is QUICK BUSY TONES all the time. What is this non sense. Is it some sort of crank call.

866-429-9218....I have received 4 calls from this # in the past 24 hrs. on my cell. The first time I answered, they hung up. The last 3 x's they hang up without leaving a message.  This is very annoying. How do we get rid of whoever these clowns are?

I have received 19 calls starting 5/1/08 through 5/18/08. If I answer, they hang up; if I don't answer no message is left. I stopped answering after the first two times, now I reject their calls - not that it helps, they called me 5 times (every 10 or 15 minutes) on the 17th but not since so maybe I'll finally be off their list.

Like someone posted above, the calls started shortly after I called Hydrolyze on 4/29 after hearing an advertisement on KGO Newstalk Radio (based in San Francisco) for a free 30-day supply.  After providing my credit card and personal information, the auto-attendent told me I was subscribing to receive the product so I cancelled my order.  So far nothing has appeared on my credit card but two days later the calls from 866-428-9218 started.  I have to believe they are related.

I registered my cell phone on the do not call registry today (I had forgotten to do that when I changed my cell number earlier this year).  

I guess I'll wait the 31 days and then complain if I continue to get calls.  When I googled Hydrolyze, I found there are several different web addresses selling the product, so I think any one of their licensees could have sold our phone numbers to the company calling us.

This number called my house telephone today, I answered. The girl on the line spoke really fast and I couldn't quite understand. The only thing I got was, "You recently told us you were interested in our product." I said, "What product?" She didn't say anything else. No one in my family, including myself, have inquired about or purchased any products online or over the phone. I hung up and found this page. I called the number back, it rang twice, and said, "This number cannot be reached as dialed. Please check your number and call back again." I know it was the right number because I checked my caller ID, and checked this site. Same number, so I dialed it straight from what I had written down. I HATE callers like this.

Called called and did not answer phone because did not recognize number.

i just got this call this morning and picked up and they hung up.  i thought at first it was this whole "the dark knight" advertiseing thing because i called a couple of those numbers for kicks.  but they called me back and i was out of it cause i was sleeping     but like a couple of you said you called for something free seen in an advertisement   and i did the same thing yesterday   so maybe they share the same numbers for call backs???   i dono     but thanks for all the storys

Reading your posts I remembered I TOO had called that Hydrolyze company to see if there 'free' offer was really free.  Of course it was not, so I said to forget it.  I just got a call from this number 20 minutes ago.  I answered, and some woman says "Joe Freaking Brown" and hangs up.  It sounded like she was talking to someone that may have just walked up to her.  Who knows.

My guess is they have my number from calling them last week or so.  I'm sure they use an outgoing ONLY number, because I got the same fast busy everyone else go when they called this number.  My company does the same thing, so calls go to a central number, but I'm sure we could just as easily give a fast busy response instead of forwarding to our call center.  Many of my vendors have the same set up.

I'm going to look into the DO NOT CaLL registry, and figure out how I can make a complaint.
