Claims to be a debt collector from a company that no longer exist. Never did business with that company since it is not a store from my area. Plus I don't believe in credit cards.

Called and said I had debt ... which I don't have lol then asks to type in Social security #. SCAM!!!

They keep calling me, and they leave no message, they always call when I’m not on my phone so I can’t pick up and I texted them to stop calling me and they didn’t answer or stop calling.

I hung up on this number, but it keeps calling me. AJ, I wish they would, too. I don't even know who it is because i don't pick up the phone; I just reject the call. it looks like a few others above have said it's a scam, and i don't care what they want; I am not giving out my private information. I will just keep rejecting the call and hope they get the hint that i won't talk to them, whoever it is.

Called and when I said hello they stayed silent, just hung up.

They have been calling me for months and when I answered the first few times there was no talking or anything, so I hung up and blocked the number but they still call.

Called the number back after not answering when they called,they immediately asked for account number or if I didn't have that my social security number...after entering nothing some person with broken English answered and wanted my social...definitely a scam artist posing as "Jefferson Collections"...needless to say the number is now blocked.

I didn't answer the call & they left no message.

Constantly calls but I always ignored. I finally answered and they asked for someone (not me) told them they had the wrong number. The woman apologized and said she would remove my number....we'll see.

debt collector that buys old debt and try's to get you to pay

Ever since I bought a new phone 3 years ago these idiots have been calling me. After I answer, it takes them about 10 seconds to respond (obviously getting a script ready). A person with a heavy accent asks for William Cole. I tell them there is no William Cole at this number and they say they will remove it from their list. They never remove it and keep calling. I called the number they called me from and it is just a recorded message from Jefferson Capitol Debt Collectors. The recording asks to enter an account number or Social Security number. That's when I hang up.

I tell them to quit calling but they don't.

Called and I declined, they did not leave a voicemail.

Received a call from "Jefferson Capital" of all times on my birthday. I informed the caller that they my phone number was on both the national and my state's No Call lists. The caller became very defensive when I asked questions about their business. The only information given in response to my questions was "We are a company."

Keeps calling no message - every day for about a month now
