Just canceled this service. Had to be rude to get her to do it. She kept telling me how good it was and acted personally insulted when I insisted on canceling.

chicago huh..? well i got the same call and was offered some insurance that will cover me and my spouse when I'm injured, some hundred dollars a month, and for 6months if im still injured i get paid two million. And i said that sounds too good to be true; So the second person i talked to, after speaking to this girl, he says that i will have approximately 30 days to call and cancel so i being a dumbass agreed and said yes to all his questions. Now, when i spoke to the girl ( who in my opinion seemed to be quite cute, or atleast i think judging from her voice) say that they are situated in Nebraska, but they prolly have multiple locations all over the U.S, since they claim to be part of Bank of America.

I actually just got the call a couple of minutes ago and plan to call back to cancel the next day and ill try to contact my bank and tell them the whole thing or to atleast check my [***] for the next 30 or 60 days and call me when my money's tryin to get out haha.

Anyways if anyone has any more info or specific info on this scam insurance thing, i could use some details so i know what to tell my bank.
    And I'm 19 haha

My Mom & Dad got this call from this company #866-440-0456.  Dad declined what they were offering, but they got out if him what bank they bank with.  Then all of a sudden the Bank of America acct, which they hardly ever used was being debited hundreds of thousands of dollars.  It was that insurnace company called AIG, They tried for months to cancel with AIG, but still they kept taking money.  Finally the bank told them they will cancel the acct, which stop the harassing funds being taken from them.  Unfortunately they never got re-imbursed from this company.  Nor was the bank willing to re-imburse all the fees.  We figured they SCAMMED about $2,000.00 from my parents.  I have since talk to a lawyer friend and he is going to file a re-imbursement claim to get there money back.

It is called ACH Fraud and based on the post here it appears and elsewhere on the internet there are many, many, many Bank Of America customers that have been hit. Recomemendations I have seen are to put an ACH block on you account to prevent further ACH transactions or move your money to another bank.

    This really SUCKS.

I take care of my parents billings and took look at this when i was reading their bank statements and noticed this damn line item: ACIDENT DISABILI DES:8664400456.

I then proceeded to call BOA to put a stop payment for this amount.

I will go tomorrow to close my BOA accounts. I feel violated and raped.

it happen yo me. they called to me and to be nice i accept it since they told me i would be able to cancel it whenever i wanted. i called once and they told me to think about more and i did bbut did not wanted and planned to cancel it next day. later i called and couldn't cancel it becuse they "had" problems in their system. early today i was looking for their number since i lost it and found this page. i called; they tried to convince me to not canceled it but i did. then since i read all messages in this page called BOA to make sure thy did not charge me any more but they wanted to charge me to stop those payments. i hope they stop it.

I have the very same problem. They charge me $14.95 every month, but I didn't know that ACIDENT DISABILT DES:8664400456 was their number until now! I feel so stupid, but I am glad there is a forum like this. Bank of America was no help. I thought about closing my bank account to avoid the montly transaction, but I'm afraid they might find a way to keep charging me or sue me for unpaid payments. For those who called that number and canceled this "service", how long did it take?

My elderly relative was charged 20.90 for years.  I went to Bank of America and asked
them what this charge was.  BOA representative had no idea.
I called the number 866-440-0456 , was either on hold or no pick-up.

This is dishonest and should be looked at by our government (won't hold my breath).

CANCEL you BOA account..  Go to an honest bank!

I have been told by bank of america they do not know of this company and to contact them and get all details possible. and if i do not get information that I have requested they will fight to get all the money ever paid to the company and refund it.

It is fraud. My grandparents have been paying this for who knows how many years & they already had a life insurance plan & I have gone thru all there paperwork and nothing concerning this company. Only life insurance they have is thru the company my grandfather worked for. which my grandmother was not covered.

I will be calling tomorrow and having a discussion with the BOFA department & also telling them I have been trying for the past 6months for information. they keep stating they will mail us all the detailed policy information & stated our address and we have never received anything. and I have called them more then a dozen times.
unwilling to cancel and refund. BOFA Better do it.
as they are losing 5bank accounts due to this.
    1 holding 1.5m and rest under 200k.

bofa is most likely behind it 100% and does not even bother asking permission knowing it is elderly.

Hello everyone. We just got hit by these folks, and I successfully got through to BofA fraud, who promised a thorough investigation and to get back to me. I suggested that the write a software script to scan customer accounts for this number so they can notify customers as soon as it shows up, which they took as a reasonable request and will include in their report back to me. Will post progress here as it happens.
