Calling claiming to be from Bank of America needing my information. I hung up on them.

It is Bank of America calling to let you know the deferment is about expire and if you need to defer your payments during this pandemic they are able to help. It's not a scam. Did not ask me for any info other than my phone number associated with the credit card.

BS...You are part of it. Called  boa and they said they never call. Put a fraud alert in my account.

Claimed to be Bank of America. Would not give me any information without verifying my address, zip code and last 4 of my card number. Did not show up as Bank of America when I googled the number and when I called them back they said they did not call me.

If what you and "Terri" said were actually true neither one of you would have had to look the number up.  After, when you know who called and why there is no reason to look the number up.  Now the people who come here saying "it is legit" are the scammers themselves trying to fool people into answering the phone.

Called and claimed to be BoA asked me for my zip code got upset when I would not tell her.  I said I'll call the number on the back of the card, agent got upset and said that the info they are asking for isn't personal.  I called BofA they have no record of making any calls to me about my account and everything on my account looks fine.  This number is a scan trying to get information .

The people behind this number are scammers. They pretend to be Bank of America; they even have fake music for when they put you ‘on hold’. They ask for you to verify your account by giving them information. Complete [***], called BoA myself to verify. YOUR REAL BANK WILL NEVER NEED TO VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY WITH YOU, ESPECIALLY IF THEYRE THE ONES CALLING YOU.

I had the exact same call! September 1st 2020. A woman called and said she was Bank of America and she knew the last four digits of my credit card and she said she needed my zip code to verify something. what a terrible scam!

My phone sent a spam risk with the number,but they left a message to call them back by midnight and they will "help me"sounded like a robot.

This number tries me pretty regularly but I let my Google call filter handle it. :)

Scammer. Doesn't even leave a message. A real bank would.
