I got two calls, the first guy hung up after I refused to give out personal information to a stranger over the phone. Then I immediately got another call, and they promised to keep calling until I confirm personal information (my address). I told them do not call, they promised to keep calling anyway.

The first caller called himself Christian, the second guy John.

Look up the FDCPA. It will tell you your rights and what to do. You can send a cease phone communications letter and have them validate the debt by law.

have NO clue who this is!  comes up as (no name) on my cell phone.  The did not leave a message.  As well, I do not answer telephone numbers I do not know.  I googled the number and found this website

Have no idea who this is.  No message.  I read previous postings here - I don't even live in Las Vegas!

I have no idea who this is either, so I set my cell phone to ignore their calls (at least 3 a day) and I will only answer them when they leave a message. It's just a waste of their time and money not to leave me a message telling why they want to talk.

I had the exact same interaction with a woman named "Pamela."  Ironically they kept calling for someone named Bill Williams and I was calling them back to tell them they had the wrong number.  Pamela was extremely rude, would not stop talking so I could speak, was being very aggressive trying to get me to "confirm" who I was by giving my address and social security number over the phone to a perfect stranger and like you, promised to keep calling anyway.

I looked them up and they are a company called Resurgent Capital Services.  They are in violation of the FDCPA which you can find a copy of on their website as well as instructions on how to report them for their heinous and blatant violations.

For several weeks have been getting phone calls from this number and other toll free ones. Tonight a computer said please hold for an important mesage. Then a woman came on and asked for a person who does live here. WTold them they don't live here and hung up. All the calls have asked for the same person and each time we tell them we do not know that person and they do not live here.
