Recv'd call from 866-441-9221.  don't know who or why.  don't owe anybody anything so don't know why they're calling.  The person who had my cellphone number 4 years ago still gets collection calls ON MY PHONE.  they don't get that that person ditched the phone 4 YEARS AGO!

I seem to be plagued by these types of calls these days. Some stinking 800 or 866 number, they call, I answer, they hang up. I'm guess they are telemarketers that get payed by the call and not by what they sell. I wish these people would get a life so I can live mine in peace.

They called and hung up 4 times today. When I call back a recording comes on saying "welcome to real local pages, please hold a moment and your call will be answered by one of our sales specialists." After a few rings the call disconnects.

3 to 4 calls a day on my cell phone 886-441-9221 same thing as everyone else. They call and hang up. When you call the number back it you get "welcome to real local pages" then after a few rings call gets disconnected. These people are driving me nuts!

Getting the same thing from the same number. Going to try my ph. Co. and see if they can't block the number...

They've been calling my cell phone for the past few days, and hanging up as soon as I answered.  After reading everyone's comments here, I called the number back and also got the "real local pages" recording then a disconnect.  I contacted my cell phone company, but was told they can't block numbers, only landline companies can do that.  I finally filed a report on the FCC site about phone soliciting (my number has been on the Do Not Call list for at least 6 months), and within an hour after I posted it, I got a call from the number again and a heavily accented voice asking to speak with me about my Real Yellow Pages listing (my phone is for my business).  I told this person I'd filed a complaint and to not call my number again, and hung up.  I seriously don't believe this outfit represents the Real Yellow Pages...I think it's a scam of some sort.

Same thing for me. I called my carrier AT&T. They said they could block it for $4.99 a month. The person I talked with said they cannot see the information on that number. In polite terms I told him he was full of it. As they are AT&T, WTF!

I forgot, I use my Cell phone number as my business number. Ever since I applied for my business licsense I get these BS calls.

they called, again.  Filed a formal complaint at www.donotcall.gov where my phone number is registered as a do not call number.  that'll make it stop.

Got call from 866-4141-9221, no one on line. this has been happening
a lot lately. Not only this one but other numbers as well. How does
one go about getting off the calling list they apparently have that
is not on the donot call list. I've registered there for all phones

your company charged us $40.30 this month on our AT&T bill.  i have been on hold with your company for.....33 minutes so far .  we did not authorize you to charge us for ANYTHING - and apparently there is only ONE person in your entire organization that is authorized to REMOVE charges billed through phone bills.  she is apparently next to impossible to connect with due to HIGH CALLER VOLUME!

I recvd a call from an Indian gentleman from Real Local Pages.com.  He was verifiying my business info and said his company "Real Local Pages" is a free service.  They can provide me detailed listings of my business services and even a website (which I don't need, I'm a webdesigner).  I told him I don't really need his service and there has to be a charge for all they he could provide to me.  He started getting snippy with me asking, "How can I get money from you if you don't give me your credit card, ma'am.  This is a free service year after year."  As I was talking, I looked up www.reallocalpages.com.  It looked like a real website (easy to do).  Then I Googled real local pages, while on the phone, and found a few blogs where people were having problems with this company.  I started asking more questions.  He was getting nervious and even more aggressive.  I questioned perhaps a charge on my phone bill?  No way, there will never be a charge for this service.  He handed the phone to another Indian man, even more aggressive.  When he couldn't answer the questions, he rudely hung up on me.  I called the number they gave me: (888) 212-1334 and spoke to American speaking Havier who explained they do outsource sales.  Havier stated that the service is billed on my credit card or thru my phone bill and would be $29.99 or $39.99 a month.  I told Havier that they have an outsourced sales dept (in India?) who is lying to customers.  He took my number to investigate. **Sounds like a good service for some, but it isn't free as advertised.**

Thanks everyone - you just saved me from a headache.  Now their phone number is blocked on caller ID, so you don't know what number they're using.

i am one of the agent of the rlp and i am from asia ,,actually it's really bad to bill anybody and specially its a scam hmmmm if you need to call me and ask me what we do before i will answer you guys ...

I have just recieved a call Reallocalpages ,also sounds like they  are from India. they gave me an address to cancel if I want.. plus a new #
1888-212-1421 and the cancel  address is Cancel@reallocalpages.com I don't know if this helps,, plus call your phone Co and tell them to put a stop for any charges on your bill you did not authorize it..

Don't think about this calls as scam cause the company is investing money to promote a certain business they spend more than $39.95 0r $40.00 just to promote a business in all the people in your local area,even though it's just a small or big city you will be ahead and above among your competitions...
