Called and left message re: old student loans which were paid off years ago.

Calling from (615) 486-6302 with no business name regarding federal student loans and repayment. I don't have any!

Call me about student loans from number 909-415-4174. All student loans were paid off in full 10+ years ago. When I called the number they gave me back (866-449-1616) it said I was not eligible and hung up on me. Def sounds like a scam. This is what happens when the government takes something over - you information finds its way into nefarious hands.

Called from 712 485 3385. Identified by the name Deborah Lewis. Claimed to be calling regarding federal student loans that they claim are in default, but in fact have been paid off. Called back using *67 to block number and they said I was ineligible and hung up.

Def a scam

*67 doesn't work when you're calling a toll-free number.

We have 0 federal loans. But whomever this  "Deborah Lewis" is leaves this number 866-449-1616 along with some reference number. The number that called was 1-903-781-3370

Received a call from 530-744-2379 and was told to return Deborah Lewis' call regarding my student loans. Gave me the number 1-866-449-1616 to call back and a reference number.

Message said it was Debra Lewis calling about student loans. The number she gave was 866-449-1616.  She even gave a reference number.  We haven't had student loans for 30 years.

Called from 615-863-9216 regarding my student loans. Gave me a reference number. Debra Lewis. Told me to call 866-449-1616. Did not identify herself as being from my actual student loan company and in the years since I have graduated, they have never actually called me. Has to be a scam.

called from 505-658-6488 said her name was Debra Lewis left me a message and wanted to talk about my student loans. when I called back it just put me on hold for ever.

Called regarding my student loans due to recent changes. Did not name a company. My loan standing is good. Called number and it had a menu for student loans but did not name a company. My loan holder always says who they are. Fishy, probably scam.

Woman said she was Debra Lewis calling about my federal student loans and  repaying them with new changes that have taken effect. She called from ‭470-272-7207‬ (caller id number) and gave the number 866-449-1616 to call her back and said I should use reference number 101107.  I don’t have any student loans.  She sounded very serious like there was a problem, most likely to scare people to fall for her scam.

She called me, Gave the the same number to call, Gave me the same reference number.

Same contact information and refrence number left on my voice mail. Wow!

I got the exact same call, from a dif. number, and the reference number was the same...

Message from Debra Lewis from 619-728-1292 calling about federal student loans and repayment.  No loans here.  Her call back number was 866-449-1616 and ref number 101107.  Looks like she has been busy.

Called and left a message from 470-414-3048. Identified me as “Wes” (not my name) and said she was Deborah Lewis calling about my federal student loans and my repayment options. She did not identify a company name. She provided a very phony sounding reference number to use when calling back the 866 number.

She’s gave me the same name, phone number and reference number. When I call back it just says they will review my name fro their call list.
They called on my daughters loans that they said were in default. She is still in school.

Same as everyone else only she was Debra Willis. Lol. Really changing it up, Deb.

Called from 1-567-742-9223, left me a voicemail saying her name is Deborah Lewis calling about my federal student loans and need to discuss my repayment options. She did not identify a company name. She provided a reference number the same as others - 101107. Asked that call her back at 866--449-1616. Scam.
