Just got a call from them too.  Hang up, no message

The company is register.com....they are a web hosting company (web domain) and it is a solicitation call for additional services.

It was Register.com.  They called twice and didn't leave a message.  When they called me the third time, I picked up.  They were offering to convert my monthly payment on the do-it-yourself website to a yearly payment, which was cheaper.  It sounded like a good deal so I took it.  :)  I do wish they had left a voicemail so I'd have known who was calling and why, though.

It is register.com...if you have or have had a "Do it Yourself" website with them that was paid monthly.  They want to switch you to a once a year payment and offer customized website services.  Which is all well and good, but when you work nights and get awakened by calls at 9am.  Arrrrrr..!!!

I told the guy I am tired of getting calls twice a day, so he says --

"Do you want to be taken off our call list?"

I say, "Yes, take me off."

He says, "If I do, you won't get important calls about your account."

Alright. No-brainer. Why ask?

I would like to get those important calls from the people behind my website on the World Wide Web, wouldn't I?

There are other companies that don't bug the crap out of you several times a week witgh upgrade offers, and I'm looking for one. Bye-bye, Register.com.
