Its The Ishares funds calling to see if you have got your proxy info and seeing if you would like to vote over the phone if you get hung up on it is bc it thinks it is getting a message macine and it hangs up just call back the number and vote your shares and they will stop calling

But I don't HAVE iShares.  It's spam.  It's junk.  And I have a do not call number.  They are breaking the law.

THey do not fall under the fed dnc list bc they have a contract with the fund they might just have the wrong number by mistake so just call them back and let them know and the calls will stop

I get calls from this number all the time.  Yes, it is for proxy.  My husband and I both have said NO.  They keep calling and usually no one is there.  I guess they'll only stop if you say YES!!

klajfkadklfj is correct, it's Ishares.  If you don't have Ishares, they may be calling because they have a wrong phone number.  If you call the number back, they will take care of it.  This happened at my office and when I called the number back, they asked for the former owner.  I told them he no longer owned the company, and they took our number off.  They haven't called back since.

1-866-450-8471 --- Calls each night to my home and they leave no message. I just called them back and it is a proxy service for IShares. At first they were reluctant to take my name out of their system. They claim the information is public and they have the right to call you. I told them if I continue to get calls I will pull my investments out of all of my IShare funds. After pushing a bit they agreed to not call me again; will see. Be persistent and do not take no for an answer.

Asked to not be called

called me at home during the day and asked for my husband; told him i'd take a message; he had to go to someone else to get the 866-450-8471 number but would not tell me who he was or what he was calling about; his voice was so garbled and heavily accented that i could barely understand him; finally told him to take us off his call list; if this was something he could not tell me they had no business calling us.  !

One call today after two calls from a another spammer.
There is a jump of spam calls sinc Obama came into office, is there a change of policy.
This website is great, FCC should shut down every number listed here.

Calls daily for three weeks. Was hang-ups, then messages about a natural gas account that I do not have. So annoying!

correction to a my post of a couple of moments ago...wrongly reported 866 458 8471.  Is 866 450 8471, which is a proxy service for an etf--iShares.

Tired of this # calling and not leaving a message... I'm glad my phone has a blocking feature.

Phone rang and was able to answer.  They hung up.  It's Sunday.  The message said, "You have reached a non-working phone number at California Casualty.  Please call 1-800-841-4736 and select option 0."  There is no option 0 and the guy I spoke to at the insurance claims said he has no idea why I am being called.

Received call 10-1-09 12:05 p.m. - No message left

Call every day.  I have a "do not call number".
