Thats funny! These guys represented as TD Insurance, called me and asked what is my date of birth first to identify my information. I refused to disclose any of my identification infromation and then they said they can't continue the call. :) SCAM!

[***] this is scarry to find out this person represent TD INSURACE  and asked me if i already receive the renewal of insurance. He told me if he got the right address of mine because i didn't receive a mail from them yet, so he said, i can call them back if I have any questions. I just found it its a scam after a few days I didn't receive any mail from TD insurance.

i received the call asking about my insurance with TD, i called back to the customer service they verified the number to be genuine and they belong to TD loyalty group.

I checked out the number and content of the call--they are legit TD Insurance.  You are also able to call TD and discuss the call and your policy to verify.

TD Insurance and they are legit. I spent a great deal of time researching and verifying to be certain. They also do start every phone call with a question regarding your birthdate before discussing the file they are calling you about to make sure they have reached the correct person. If it helps, get them to tell you the day and month and you tell them just the year of your birthdate. I also phoned the next day to verify with my TD Insurance phone number on my policy and yes, what I was told and all the details of our call matched, even the name of who called me and the verification that they do start every call with a question regarding the birthdate.

The number may truly be associated with TD but it could also be spoofed by scammers. The call may be legit for some, not legit for others.

They hung up as soon as I answer. I am a TD insurance customer, however due to the hangup I cannot confirm if it was TD calling or not.

Sounds to me that you're either really naive  or you are the scammer.
