I received a call from that number today and another call from a similar number yesterday!

Her name is Mariam Burns, with portfolio recovery. She illegally, “LONG PAST” the statute of limitations, collects uncollectible ghost debt.

"Ghost debt"? I've heard of zombie debt...

one of the many misinformation posts being put up by the pra trolls such as Toby, Gundoloose, Dd, myself, and V+9+0 who think that every phone number on this site belongs to that outfit and who are too stupid to learn what to do because they prefer to be professional whiners.

This is the 103rd number used by Portfolio Recovery.  They have called 153 times since 6/16/18.  They have never left a message.  They buy bad debts and try to collect them.  We have never had any delinquent debts nor have we received any collection letters or been sued.

I don’t know who this is. When I call back “ if you are calling about your account”? Annoying.
