Hi Katelyn, After 53yrs. of working to pay bills on time, living WELL w/in my means(no cable,no cell phone, no hairdresser,manicures, vacations EVER, flea market EVERYTHING, not a dime child support for 4 kids, never a food stamp or sect. 8, no Medicaid for kids,  not a single cent I didn't earn myself, I was injured. No health insurance so no doc/no hosp.Self-empl. - used up small savings paying ALL bills on time the next 3 mos. Then contacted everyone asking for just ONE mo.leeway - only Discover card was understanding. Had never been late on anything. Wells Fargo(mortgage) was the WORST - 1 week late & they called everyday, all day.Missed 2 mos. of cred. card payments on 2 cards (not Disc.) &low int. rate went to: 32.99% This all 5 yrs. ago - 12,000 bal. now near 40,000 on one card. Have lived w/ guilt, stress, worry, depression now that is awful/crippling but still hanging in. Thought it was wrong to get upset w/ creditors as I DO owe the $$$. But tried so darned hard...read your post - feel "born again". Thank you. And good  luck to you.

I am getting calls from them for my Ex-Wife (Divorced since 2007).
She has student loans in default and they keep calling me on my cell phone.
They called me twice today already.

When I called them back I go the same "Thank you for calling Protocol" Please wait...
Nobody ever picked up.

What can I do to report them?

The number called today and left no message. Did not call back.
Not late on ANYTHING

I to have been getting these calls for several months now.  Not for me,  I've had the same number for 28 years now so no excuse for calling me.  Though I had let a friend use my phone once as she was on hard times and didn't have one of her own.  They have called for her and I have repeatedly told them she doesn't live here.  They wanted her new number which even if I had it I wouldn't give out to anyone,  Then proceeds to ask me to take a message I tell them sorry not  interested in doing so.  and man do they get mad.  But then call me yet again.  If they want to continue to waste their time I let them.  I've told them repeatedly this is not her number, I will not do their job of locating her, and Have no intentions of taking a message.  Their problem not mine.

they wont stop calling us ...that number calls us once a day... called us one day i answered the phone recording said it was a important message after that i just hung up

We have gotten a call too!! We owe nothing. They call once or twice a day. Never leave a message.

Do not trust this collection agency.  Ask them to prove you owe a debt.  Get the full name of the person calling including the location of the business.  Tell them to remove your name and phone number from thier data-base immediately.  Although they are probably doing business from a double-wide somewhere in the swamps of Florida...they can and will make your life HELL.  They are skilled at intimidation and will harrass you if they sense you are vulnurable.  Scams are everywhere....

They were trying to get hold of Brandi Kendricks.  Said she owed a debt.  I don't know B.K., and told them that, but they and several other collection agencies continue calling me.

Day in day out everyday!! No message no nothing! Pushing me to the brink! Time to seek and destroy!

I keep getting these automated calls at my place of work. They ask for a "David Wainwright". In the past I have just deleted them from my voice message or hang up. This time I listened to the whole message and got the return phone number. As others have stated, I did connect with a live person and got the runaround. The rep wasn't interested in hearing that I wasn't David Wainwright. At least I know know what type of call it was.

They just called my wife on her cell phone she has had for YEARS and asked for someone we have never heard of.
