I am calling because you are now eligible to get them forgiven by utilizing the full tax elimination program. Um your current balances may be forgiven, but we do need to file it this week. Give us a call to get it set up, it is pretty fast, a one time process. If you have already handled this, call back and press 2 to opt out".

I hate scammers. It’s shame some people fall for them

Yet another tax scammer that calls on a spoofed number, asks you to call back (866) 457-3594. They called an unlisted bank phone number, which is the funny thing. Typical scammer wants you to call back to opt-out, probably to verify that your number is active and to possibly hard-sell you or trick you another way.
