  I receive a ca'll every day from this number. I've   called back twice leave my last four s.s. numbers  for my husband & I. When I call back, the recording says no such account & then it asks for my whole s.s number. I hang up.
  I called Citibank myself, not using this number. They are not trying to get ahold of me. They called the number & got no one

They left a message with a female computer generated voice saying that they are suing us. They wanted us to call back. We didn’t call. Lawyers send certified letters, not leave messages on your voicemail.

I am so sick of these people calling. Several times day ... I answered once and they keep calling back. They don't leave a message. Said they were from CitiBank calling about Home Depot line of credit the one time I answered.

This number has been calling me 4 times a day for over a week now. I DO NOT have a CitiBank account and I have never even stepped into a Home Depot. They never leave a message. This number is a complete scam and infuriatingly annoying.

Called my cell phone.  I don't know from Adam's house cat so I don't answer.  My cell phone does not take messages so have no idea if they tried to leave a message.  As most of the unknown calls to my cell phone turn out to be scams I am betting on that.

Calls half dozen times a day, doesnt leave a message, usually hangs up if picked up, on the one time someone spoke they hung up when asked to identify themselves.

This is a legitimate telephone number for Citi in regards to my Home Depot credit card. (as of 1/15/2019).

Does it matter if the number is legitimate or not? Scammers can spoof ANY number or name in the Caller ID, so you can't be 100% certain of who is calling if you did not expect the call.  Many scammers are very good at impersonating whomever they claim to be.

Some people will post that their caller is legitimate and give you "details" to convince you its safe to answer and talk to them. Don't trust they are! Many of those "its legit" posts are scammers who come here to try convincing you so you answer and fall for their scams. They post to disrupt the warnings and mislead people into a false sense of security.

Some people believe they are genuinely helping by posting a "review", but you can't be sure if it is a scammer shilling misinformation or not. Most people who receive an actual legitimate call don't generally decide to look up the number and see what was said about it, why would they? So its always suspicious when someone wants to try reassuring the call is legitimate and even more so when they present an argument about it when challenged.

Read everyone's posts, not just a few and you can make a better informed decision on who might have called you. If someone says its a legitimate number, don't just take their word, verify it yourself and you will avoid being scammed.

Never trust the caller to be who they claim, always call an official number to verify if they did.

Has been calling me multiple times a day for months. A few things happen:
I answer, no reply, caller hangs up.
I answer, tell them they can leave a message, they say it’s citi bank for Home Depot card, (our payments are never late so no way it’s for that).
Lastly, I never answer unknown calls anymore! They call all day, everyday!
I did at one point tell them by law they are not allowed to call more than 3 times a week, and the woman told me they can call up to 7 times a day if no answer!

Claim to be a credit service calling 4 times in a day.

Calls between 10 and 20 times a day, never leaves a message, no one ever there if answered.

44 times in one week! What an ugly way to do business

They are using City Bank Caller ID and left a message " This is City, Calling regards to Home Depot Account, it is very important, bra bra bra......." It is SCAM !!! " Don't answer

call several times without leave messages, except this time calling about a Home Depot services. scam.

Yes, they called from this number and said this was Citi Card calling about my Home Depot Account.  Home Depot and Citi Card need to investigate this.
