I called this number and it is the comcast tutorial line. Not sure what it is exactly, but hopefully this helps.

Just to let you all know calls from this number are courtesy calls. It is a company, HiWired, partenered with Comcast. You will reach a person stating "Comcast tutorial line" or something along those lines. It is not a sales call. The people are nice and not trying to sell you anything at all. They simply take you on "virtual tours" of the website comcast.net and show you some of the benefits Comcast has included in a package, like the McAfee, Rhapsody, or something along those lines. If you get a call and arent busy, listen to them! They are genuine and just trying to educate about your service. If you dont have the time, just simply tell them that!!!

The call is NOT at all courteous since it is a major interruption of what I am doing.  I have to much to do for this BS!  I reported it to the donotcall registry.  If you want to do the same, go to www.donotcall.gov .  I have two other numbers I have also reported.  I am going to be on this like glue to END this cr*p!

Wow dude, you are upset by the fact they have a service trying to teach you about what you paid for?

All you simply have to do is tell them not right now and they will leave you alone.  I'm thinking there are some underlying issues as to why you are so upset.  Don't take your family and personal problems out on poor folks getting paid to help you.  Not their fault you hate your miserable life :)

uh uh dude. They're trying to grab you into something over the phone, they have your email, and they sure have your mailing address so they should send
"a service trying to teach you about what you paid for", in the mail. NOT CALL YOU AND NOT LEAVE A VOICEMAIL, THEREBY INTERRUPTING YOUR LIFE.
