Constant calls - never leave a message so they remain totally ignored

Keep calling here as a "courtesy" call for my college age daughter...won't say why...used to just call and hang up.

I received the call too.  It is a subsidiary of US Bank, it's an insurance division.  I called back the number and it gave options to be removed from their marketing call list.

I just wish the caller id would display US Bank; I would answer a call from US Bank since I have accounts with US Bank.  I won't answer calls that do not display the sender, so US Bank is
stupidly missing the chance of more business with me by hiding behind "Toll Free Call."  Idiots.
I assume US Bank has contracted with some call-center version of a sweat shop to make these
calls.

This is outrageous if this call represents US Bank.  I think it is a scam, so I am reporting fraud with
this telephone   866-469-5351 ICaller says its about insurance

i called this number back, and put it in the reverse phone no contact...

My friend and I just called the 1880-US-BANKS number and spoke with a specialist. He said that the number was an affiliate of US Bank and that  he would put the phone number on a privacy restriction. Also, if they call in the meantime just say you dont want to be bothered, but it would be taken care of.

Damn people have been calling me hanging up also.  I caled it back and get the recording others have mentioned - stating I can be removed from their list.  Then I am asked to enter my number to verify the number they are to remove.  I think this is a bunch of crap.  The recording said it would take upto 30 days?  WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT?   In what universe does it take a computer 30 days to do anything?   Call came from 1-866-469-5351

I do not answer numbers that say NOT PROVIDED on my caller ID. They left no message on my answering machine.

I called the number back, got the recording to get my number taken off their list, and I did that.
My number will be processed in 5 working days, but it may take up to 30 days for it to be completely removed from their records.


US Bank has some kind of telemarketing scheme 4 or 5 times a year. I'm so sick of it!

Not if this "US BANK" is not affiliated with "USBank".  I bank with "USBank" and called them about this number.  They are not affiliated in any way; I was told this number was located in the northeast and has nothing to do with "USBank."

I have been getting scam calls from this and other numbers for several years.  I am on the "Do Not Call" list.  Now I just block them with my Panasonic phone.  Keep in mind the following:
1.  Very few legitimate businesses use "toll-free" numbers for outbound calls.  Most use normal telephone numbers within their local area codes.
2.  No genuine business will call after normal business hours.
3.  No real business will hang up over and over again when they originate a call to a customer.
4.  Most legitimate businesses will now show their real names on the caller-ID.
The best defense is to not respond to these calls in any way.

I've tried asking them to speak only in haiku... every time they say something I ask for time to count the number of syllables... then wait a few seconds and say fail.  

Keeps me entertained.

I called back and was able to have my name removed from their list, we'll see! These idiots called on New Year's Eve, in the morning. We'd just gotten in from Las Vegas on a flight that was delayed for 4 hours, so we got in at 3:00am. The caller told me it was a "courtesy call". LOL. They're trying to sell you some kind of credit card insurance.
