This letter is to inform you that if your factory warranty has expired or is about to expire, you will be responsible for paying for any repairs.

You undoubtedly received a notice claiming that your vehicle warranty is expiring or about to expire.  It is a fraudulent notice designed to get unsuspecting recipients to transfer their current warranty coverage over to this other company.  There is no return address, only a toll free number, so these people know that they are defrauding the public and want to be able to run the scam as long as they can get away with it.  I am contacting my county's district attorney, and you should too.

"wholesalewarranties.net" is a scam. Received the notice in the mail and called 1-800-939-2806. The guy forwarded me to someone higher to "see if I qualified for the elite level." Once qualified the man said he would transfer me back where a man would tell me the details of the elite level: the cost, the coverage and the length of coverage but that I would have to say yes or no to the coverage on that phone call because once I hung up, it would not be available again. Keys to know this is a scam. 1) there is pressure to decide immediately. 2) they are not able to give you specific details with out you giving an answer immediately afterwards. (there is a poor excuse why this is not possible, such as saying it's a government policy - bull!!) 3) no time to think about the value or research the information/company. Enjoy.
I was able to locate the company. Wholesale Warranties Phone: (800) 939-2806 Fax: (801) 740-5898 10441 Roselle St San Diego, CA 92121

    They are a FRAUD.

Gave name of OMNI, Motor Vehicle Services.
Notice said 100,000 car warranty, then they offered 172,000 warranty.
Wanted a down payment of $398, and $260 per month.
They are not really from your auto dealership.

    To report mail fraud: http://about.usps.com/forms/ps8165.pdf

Almost fell for this, yesterday. Received a notice by mail to call 866-471-8450, because our vehicle warranty was about to expire [not true]. Part way through the call, we realized it was a scam. Because they used mail to notify us, this makes it MAIL FRAUD. Mail fraud is a crime. Suggest filing a report; they need to be stopped.

These punk are part of Clear Advantage Auto Protection. I purchased when bought vehinal and are known be scam. When we place class act law suite, well looked into and statute limitation. "WE CANT " Have no right.......... out pocket $6500.00

Warranty rights is beyond the scope of this message, but you should be aware that coverage is not identical to the coverage for new motor vehicles. For example, a warrantor who is unable to conform a consumer product to its express warranty within a reasonable number of attempts is required to replace the goods or refund the purchase price less an amount attributable to the consumer's use. Unlike the special rules on new motor vehicles, however, there is no set formula for determining the charge for the consumer's use before the discovery of the defect, and the Lemon Law presumption does not apply.

I keep getting these notices about expired warranties.  I called that number and they didn't want to give me any information.   Wouldn't give me any estimates.   They wanted the vin number.  I asked them why they needed that,  if they had the case number on their form.  I told them I thought this was a scam of some kind and that I was turning this letter over to postal authorities.

Sent me 3 different notices in the mail.So I called and listened to them and they kept sending me to higher ups and got my account information for two of my card accounts.Credit +debit. They kept talking and talking and wouldn't let me speak.unless it was to give out info.I told them I'd think about it.So they called back and kept wanting to give me a confirmation number but each time I'd tell them that I'm not sure and can't afford it.And the guy got ticked off.Said why did i call them for.I told him i was trying to find out why your sending me warranty information.he stated that i knew what was happening since i gave my card information out.So I told him I didn't want to purchase anything. And he hung up on on me.worst service.Very bad scam.I asked him what company he worked for and he said that he represents some of the top ones and marathon administrative would be the direct one for me.Avoid these people and for your sake DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
