Continue to get calls from this number today (4 calls within a 2 hr time frame).  Rings once and then disconnects - there is a scam that gets you to call them back.  My gas bill is current so the likely “legitimacy” of this call is at best the same odds as the Powerball.  Never ever return a call to an unidentifiable number without blocking your number first.  A legit number for Washington Gas is (703) 750-1000.

Just receeived call from this number.   Caller ID show WAGASCREDITCOLL.  I do not have bill in collections and already paid current bill.  I do not believe this is truly WASHINGTON GAS.   Don’t fall for this scam.

I spoke to a lady claiming to be from Prestige Insurance Company and her return number was 866-501-3070 ext 66759. Not sure if she is legit or not. She wasn't calling for me. The phone number showed up as 763-367-9402.

Sadly i think this is a scam robot who duplicates real company numbers.. I had a call from them and they wanted my private info to verify my account i will tell you why i didn't do this, i have NEVER had an account with Washington gas and for the las few months i have lived with my husband out of state since we both work for the federal government... So even more doubtful this is real... Be careful about WHO you give the information to... Specifically your home address and SS#...

Someone with a thick southern accent left a message that he was calling me about "important personal business." If it really is the gas company, why didn't he tell me what it was about?

I don't live in Washington and I don't use gas to heat my home.  Called my cell. Has to be a scam.

Received a voicemail from this number. It showed up as unknown on caller Id but then gave me this number to call back. The lady left a message which you could clearly hear a frantic young voice in the background coaching her exactly what to say 🙄
“This message is solely intended for Karna.my name is Danielle and I've been tasked with delivering you certified legal documents associated with your name and Social Security number I will be making several attempts to get your signature at your current residence tomorrow between the hours of 3 and 5 PM  if I am unable to reach you at this location, I will have no choice but to deliver your documents to your place of employment where I would be meeting with your supervisor and armed security as witness .if I'm unable to reach you at either of these locations the full be document has a tracked refusal to sign . if you have any further questions or concerns prior to my arrival imperative the contact to the filing party's office directly 866-501-7964 and that's index number D10156 . Karma you were officially been notified please make yourself available…”
