Got a call on my cell from this number today. No message left.

Missed call on my cell phone. No message.

debt collection company.  They make up a name, and then if you try and talk to them, they won't say what company or finance company they are with.  I am sure they would love to "refinance" your debt and have you end up paying more than you already are.

Parents got this phone number on their caller ID.....didn't answer it...told them not to.....they are in their late 70's....don't want to see them get scammed.....

Collection Agency - Southwest Credit, they buy old debt for cents on the dollar and then harass the heck out of people until you settle the debt with them. They buy a lot of old Verizon debt.

received  numerous calls I have no debt. I don't know how they even got my cell number.

Whenever I get a call and no message is left and upon investigation they turn out to be a collection company, I call them back and when they come to the phone, I hang up. One rudeness begets the other and it discourages them from making further calls. I also owe no one a thing and collection companies routinely sell fabricated and non-collectable debts to other companies in order to maintain a cycle of harassment. I'm sure there are legitimate collection companies out there but this is one way of dealing with those that make no attempt to communicate and keep calling. Its costs very little to send a letter with details but much of the time, they don't have the details or want to be bothered with it and they just want you to pay them money or they will continue to harass you. Whenever I've received a written communication, I have answered with a letter. Although that should resolve the issue 100% of the time, some issues were then sold off so that the cycle of harassment continues.

it is a felony for any company to call you and not have the proper id and phone number identifying their company. Please file a complaint with your proper police agency. The federal law number is December 22, 2010 as Public Law 111-331. Please file a complaint with the FCC that who regulates this. Please pass on to other web sites to help spread the word.  I owe no nothing but our congressman allows because these people are big contributors for the election campaigns.

I get a call every day from these people.  I refuse the calls, but they continue to call.

These people just called me looking for my wife. I am her husband. I answered the call and said that I was her. They then started giving me all her personal information. I have filed no fewer that 35 complaints with the FCC and I still get the calls. These people violate every local, state and federal collection laws and still after all the complaints they are not sanctioned.

It's a felony?? These people don't care. They know that they will never be sanctioned. I had a collection company call me and threaten me. When I found out the location of the company and called back the guy and threatened him by telling him that I knew who he was and where he was calling from I think he nearly crapped himself.

I have just found out that Verizon gives out your account to more that one collection agency. So far three different companies have called my about the same Verizon debt, and this debt is in the Bankruptcy Courts and they know it and still call.

I have just read Public Law 111-311. It is filled with so many clauses that it makes it virtually impossible to enforce.  The FCC has gone as far as to tell me that they do not act on your complaints, they just keep them on file.

my number is on the do not call list yet we continue to get calls several times a day  - very annoying.

I just received a call and I changed their name in my home phone to   FUK U SCAM...that way when they call again, my calls are announced and will say this. It make us laugh hard.

I receive multiple calls from different numbers every day, sometimes up to 13 calls a day. Never is a message left and never do I receive any mail from any collection company.  So who ever they want (I don't know because messages are never left) it is not me.  I never answer and never will I return there call. Any legitimate company calling my number even a collection agency will and should ask for my by name and state why they are calling. These numbers have been calling my number for more than 6 months now.

If you are calling for me you must ask for me by name and state your business and send me validation of any debt via US mail to my home.  Don't worry that you are bothering me with the constant calling. My phone ringer is off and I screen all my calls.
