Actually, I believe that merely means that the business is not a mamber of the BBB and doesn't pay them dues.  However... I urge anyone receiving one of these cards to immediately file a complaint with their respective state Attorney General's Office and Insurance Commissioner's Office.  The address and contact info for your state Insurance Commissioner can be found at www.naic.org .  Click on the orange tab near the upper left corner marked "State Locations" or something similar.

This entity appears to be aligned with another outfit that is actually mailing out the cards for them, as follows:

I hear that the Missouri Attorney General is interested in any such solicitations coming from their state and may have already initiated a civil proceeding against several of these companies.

Received post card from Dealership Warranties, 12131 Dorsett Rd, #106, Maryland Heights, MO 63043 this week. 866-533-9966.

I did purchase a car from Tom Peck Ford in Huntley, IL last year so I thought there may be some concern as I thought perhaps I didn't understand the "closing".  I thougbht  I purchased a nice extended warranty.  

Called the # on the card. TT Rick allegedly at extension #1023. Wanted my VIN #, etc, I told him absolutely not.  He said the warranty was "bumper to bumper".  I asked him to give that to me that in writing before I considered looking at it.  He said that was NOT possible and proceeded to read of of his "call sheet".  Not buying that.

I called my dealership.  They too, seemed a little freaked out with my call and I was passed on from person to person.  Couldn't look up my coverage based on my VIN.  What. All I wanted to know is what my coverage was.  Holy cow.  I had to persue this and call them again with their resistance to help me. They called me back after my phone number apparently matched up with my sales contract.  I have a coverage of 72 months.   So what is this company doing.

I called the "Dealership Warranties" company back and was on hold, spoke to the same guy that had previously identified himself as Rick who now identified himself as another name.  I explained what happened, he asked me "Why are you so angry?".  I asked him to take my name off their list.  He said "Rick" already did.  

Well that was a fine spent 2 hours.

After getting the notification in the mail I decided to give them a call to find out what was going on. The guy on the phone asked numerous questions about the vehicle. After I stated I already paid for an extended 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty fron the dealership he asked to place me on hold while he got his "Supervisor". The supervisor stated that the extended warranty was from the date the car was sold as new.... This seemed a little odd. He wanted to extend the warranty from todays date and prorate me the rest ( If my warranty has expired there shouldn't be anything to prorate... Right? ) I told him the car was up for sale anyway so I didn't need to "extend" anything. Then he hung on me.

I had my car for four months and don't drive that much. So tell me why I need an extended warranty? SCAM

So my dad received a letter from them today. He called them and talked to some guy for quite awhile. I told my dad that maybe it's a scam because I thought it should be the dealer (where you bought your car) responsibility. My dad gave him his trucks vin# and the mileage, the guy was quite surprised because my dad has a warranty up to 75000 miles and he has only used 32000 (i know huh), but yeah my dad asked questions and was talking about his dealer (Toyota). The guy was rambling about how Toyota can lie to his customers.. etc. So i looked them up and GOOD THING i seen this post... I HATE SCAMMERS.. so i told my dad that they were scamming him.. and my dad just hung up on them.

Received a postcard from these ding-dongs. It was actually addressed to my son. Here's the rub - not only does my son not own a car, he can't even reach the gas pedal because he's 6 friggin' years old! I hope there's a special place in hell for these bottom feeders.

These guys my have changed their ph # to 1-866-714-6166 and under the name National Service Center. USPS prepaid postage shows it is from Ft. Lauderdale, FL w/ Permit # 728. I don't know if anyone knows how to find their exact address from the postage info. but I bet it goes to some one bedroom apt.

I received a notice on Friday in the mail March 27, 2009.  I have two cars, one that is 10 years old and had a 5 year warranty that expired 5 years ago, and the other that has a 5 year warranty that doesn't expire for another 3 years. This is a total scam.  I get these phone calls all the time.  It's the same people who do the card services scam.  Anyone who would ever contact you regarding your warranty or about lowering your interest rates on your credit card would already have that information.  And anything sent to you in the mail about it would be sent from either your dealership or credit card company.  Not a 3rd party asking you to call them and provide them with your information.  DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE unless you plan to waste their time by providing fake information.  If you do decide to do that make sure you at least dial *67 in front of their number to make sure they don't get your phone number put you on their calling list.

Not a scam. Great company to work with.

I receieved a "FINAL NOTICE" asked very inticate questions for which they had all the answers. I had asked whats their Reg ID # signify, are they an extention of the warrenty already offered thru HONDA,what does it cover and why did they not already have my VIN # (thery reallys hould be able to verify)etc. I felt very uncomfortable giving banking info via phone,the gentlemen proceeded to tell me they can conferce my bank and that it was basically unheard of that I do not carry/have accessible $395 down payment. They "cut" that payment in half to ease my trepidition on signing up said that they can look through "file" to see if I had anything on FILE...uhm on file with who. I argued different points with several different -same sounding- men who attempted to strong arm me into buying a BUMPER TO BUMPER warrenty that I absolutly need more than my INSURANCE. And of course I needed it NOW I told them I would run to my car and get the VIN#- they held on for 15min (in addition to the 45min we were already on the phone for)until I resolved my mind and hung up. They proceeded to call my JOB 7 times and my callphone at least 5times.Dealership Warrantoes 12131 Dorsett RD #106 Maryland Heights, MO - what a scam.
PS- They called me back with a confirmation# as they had processd the initial payment off of some info that they had already discussed with me. This is able to be cancelled for $50...

How is selling extended warranties/service contracts a scam. Every dealer in the world sells extended service contracts. Dealership Warranties sells for the same administrators as the dealers, their price is just much less and interest free. It's smart to shop around. You will see why Dealership Warranties are where they are. Great customer service and cheaper prices and backed by the largest warranty administrators in the world.

How is the postcard full of weasel-words as you call them? The facts are that the claim will be paid. There are many numbers that can support this. Know a company before you decide to badger them. It's time you know the facts.

If your notice stated final notice, that is the only one that we have sent you. We do not re-send out final notices. There are other companies out there that possibly sent you the post card but I assure you it was not Dealership Warranties. Homer, this company was built off integrity.
