Recieved a call from this number, claimed to be a law firm. Gave no information except some advice, to go back to the country they came from and get a real job. SCAM...SCAM.......SCAM.........

SCAM ALERT - They claim they represent "US Cash Loan" and they claim they are in Miami, FL and they claim their address is located at 1401 Bay View City, Fort Myers, FL 33092. When they initially called me, I they instantly asked me for my lawyers contact # and I instantly starting asking them who they were because I thought that was strange that they didn't begin the conversation by introducing themselves. Then when I asked where they were located, they said they will only reveal to me after I give them my attorneys info. I proceeded by stating that I don't need an attorney to know who they are and where they are located. I told them that I was going to report them to the attorney generals office and if they call me again they will get a call from the attorney generals office. If the people behind contact # 866-548-9612 were legit, I would've gotten something in the mail first or some type of written correspondence. I thought it was strange to get a call out of the blue. They still never told me who "they" are. They merely kept reiterating that they represent "US Cash Loan", who I never heard of.

Must be some of the old scammers have been assigned a brand new number to use in their harassment career.  I interrupted him when he said "This is Harry, how are you?"  I asked who he was calling for; he said a lawyer.  I asked for the lawyer's name.  He said Raymond Lawrence.  I asked for the name of the law firm, and he started his speech about me owing money, need to pay by tomorrow or the police will come to take me to jail . . . etc.  I interrupted him again and said "well, you are the unlucky one here today, because I am an elderly disabled woman, and I happen to  have a son who is an actual lawyer, and I will provide him with this phone number and report you to the FCC, and you will be the one going to jail."  Then I hung up.  I went into my phone service provider's web site and added this new number to my "blocked call" list.  Finally, I came here to write this up to inform others of this ridiculous scam B.S.  Why can't they be stopped?

Caution Alert -- I don't get paid for this endorsement, but I recommend everyone watch the "Anderson" morning talk show on CBS tomorrow (June 20, 2012).  It is a repeat of a show he aired earlier this year on "Identity Theft" (I was a victim myself in January).  Apparently a lot of this occurs because of scams initiated by use of the internet, especially getting ensnared by a payday loan compny.  It is taking me months to get this cleared up, and obviously my "stolen and sold" phone number is still out there somewhere.  After over twenty years, I may now need to change my phone number.  Unbelievable.

This number claimed to be the legal department from USCASHADVANCE, when I called back the number answered JC Penny.

I got a missed call from 866-548-9612 and when I called them back and asked them for their company name and company address and the guy who asnwered the phone blurted out "oh my gosh, you are such a pain here" and then he hung up on me. I only asked him that because when I noticed the missed call, I googled the number first before I called them back. When I saw these reports I figured I would find out who they were before I gave them any info about myself. Anyway, a legit company wouldn't have called me a "pain" or hung up on me simply because I want to know their company address.

Don't give them any of your money or any of your personal information beyond whatever info. they might've obtained elsewhere.

These folks keep calling me saying I owe money that I dont.. He called my job like 30x back 2 bck asking for my supervisor.

These people have called and harassed me all day and Im on the verge of finding where they are and showing up at that location to take matters into my own hands. i've reported them to the FTC since they claimed affiliation with them. Im sick of theses Arabs or Indian idiots calling and yelling on my phone. I wish we could meet face to face.

Keep getting calls saying (from what I could understand of the message) I'm facing legal action and it is about to be taken out of my hands and all kinds of different threats! Pissed off!!!!

866-548-9612 is a scam and they are the same people who call from 888-360-6634 and affiliated with the people who call from 213-788-7635. There's a company that buys applicant information from companies such as "pay day loans, mortgage companies" and any other financial services company willing to sell applicant information to other companies. If you ever apply for a pay day loan, your information is automatically sold to other companies and there's no validation process simply to sell your information. Reputable mortgage companies are a little more careful, however, they do sell your information unless you specifically ask them not to sell or rent your information to any 3rd party and to only use your information for their purposes only.

Now there calling me from a different number again. Now they're calling me from 718-819-7285. They must be getting gullible people to pay them if they're still at this and hopefully these posts help to prevent them scamming another potential victim.

Same thing - called and wanted my info, b/c the local sheriff was coming for me tomorrow.  I told them that I knew this was a scam.  The guy got more beligerent with me and said to have my attorney call them tomorrow and a lot of other stuff I couldn't understand b/c of his accent.  Then he hung up on me.  I called him back and he got mad at me, saying I told you to have your attorney call me.  Then I tol him I am an attorney.  He hung up again.

Scammers, don't send them any money

These people have called my work and told anyone they could talk to that I was being investigated for fraud approximately 30 times. They have called family (my mother in law) and have done the same. They even told me they are going to ruin the next 5 years of my life. These morons new things like my dob, last 4 of my ssn. I have been calling them back to harrass them back. The last time I did this I put the speaker phone on and yelled "taliban". He replied, "yes, who is this?" So I said it again, he replied "yes".. I hung up and called right back. A different voice was on the other end this time so I said it again and again they replied yes.. I will be calling the FBI in the morning... Then somehow I need to report that they have my ssn well at least the last 4 of it. I wouldn't doubt it if they are taliban. Sound like something those slimmy dooshes would do. Terrorism..

these people called while I am in the middle of a criminal case as well as a divorce. at first I thought that it was something involving them. turns out to me indian trash
