A woman named Joyce left a message on my cell claiming to be with our local Eversource Utility co. in southwestern CT. She didn't say who she was trying to contact or what acct. # this is in reference to . Not to mention that Utilities NEVER CALL CUSTOMERS . They send letters or email . You can call them but they NEVER CALL CUSTOMERS ! I'm in my 40's and I've lived in this part of CT my whole life so I know better . THIS IS A SCAM . I just checked some other sites and it appears scammers have been using this 800 # for various scams for at least 2 years , maybe longer .

Received call 8/18/2017 - Ryan, CT Gas and Electric - Public Power re; potential changes made to Evesource account. Did not answer and received no notice by mail of any changes. Am not with Public Power.

Call from Ryan CT Gas and Electric - Public Power, same as above about changes to my Eversource account.  Probably a scam.  won't be calling back to find out.
