I dialed the number back and the message asked me to hold for the next available agent. I hung up before anyone answered. Who is this?

It is Bank of America calling either for a new account, or to discuss existing account.

BEWARE!!  Do NOT call this number back. Bank of America Customer Service told me this is a bogus number and that Bank of America does not call customers and ask for information over the phone. They told me this is a rampant problem and to not ever give out my information to this number. Also, the code # this number says to enter is also bogus. This is not Bank of America's number at all.

This number calls me every single day and answering the call just gives an automated thing as well, the automated thing asks for a person that does not exist in my house so I tell it I'm not that person, automated system then gives me 3 options 1-pause message for person to come to phone 2-take a message or 3-wrong number.  I press 3 for wrong number once every single day.  They still continue to call for the same exact name every single day exactly 4 times.

Unfortunately there is nothing BofA can actually do about any of it and I've already tried blocking the number...but apparently I'm using my allotted number of blocks allowed by my phone company so I just have to continue getting these calls every day or unblock one of the other scammer numbers I have blocked so I can block this one and suffer calls from a different scammer.

The whole thing is idiotic and frustrating.

I get several calls and texts every day on my cell for the past month from this number.  I called BOA regular customer # and they said it's bogus.  SUCKS!!!

Bank of America called to alert me of an attempt to open a checking account on line in my name.  If this happens to you be sure to call your bank and post a fraud alert on any account you might have. Also change your password and ad a note to verify your new password with a specific question added to the password that only you know.  If you buy on line be sure to make a verbal purchase or application by calling the business.  Any personal information you give in a typed application can be stolen (as mine was).  

Fake Bank of America call...auto-tele call asking for zip code. Did not answer.

I have been getting calls from this number 2 to 3 times a day for the past 2 weeks. The recording starts out with my name and that I have applied for an on-line application for a checking account. The first thing they ask for is my zip code. I finally had it and called Bank of America. They know of no such phone# for Bank of America and said it was some sort of a scam and to not respond.

Received call from this # --- it was a robot. Did not call back. It said I had applied for a loan and to call 866-729-5732.
I did not apply for any loan sooooo... did not call back. Will file a police report

Pretends to be from Bank of America asking to verify a checking account opened in my name, yesterday they called from 855-926-5096 Bank of America confirmed these oare not BoA numbers

Jeff Turner leaves a voicemail giving name and dob to say a complaint has been made and call the office to seek volunteer arrangement or lawyer.  The phone number to reach the office is 716-587-8153.

Said they where going to charge my account over 200dollars. Robot never said what company

In my IPAd show advertiser said was apple and do not closed or my IPAD  will broken to call this number to an specialist from apple will fixed , but because I own 3  IPADS I USED OTHER IPAD AND LOOK FOR THIS NUMBER AND 800 notes have plenty  people said about this in this number , SO REMEMBER  BEFORE HOU CALL A PHONE# .Look always in the internet  the phone and see is the owner
